      I bought this washer dryer set
      It’s garbage you can’t use it like the old washers
      You need to be an engineer to run it
      Can’t do a short cycle or just a spin it runs for hours
      You’d have to be a computer tech to run utc
      I hate the fucking thing

    • @vlthompson3

      @@1956DANNYJ Hopefully, you're more familiar with your unit by now. There is a quick cycle button (short cycle,) and there is also an option to run a spin cycle only. Agreed it is probably a little complicated when migrating from a non-technology-based machine, but it really doesn't operate much differently. It actually is more efficient. This video was not particularly useful as a tutorial.

      @@VolaciousFly Hi there, just wanted to see if you get your questions answered? Cuz I think I am having a same issue on the Whirlpool washer too. The washer is making small movement when it is on "washing" mode and I am not sure if that is normal as well.

      @VolaciousFly Před 2 lety +3

      @@jiaensitu9654 We had an Whirlpool expert/repairman come and check on this Whirlpool Washer and Dryer because we only had them for a few days and we weren't sure about a lot of things. I also showed him the video with the sound on to show the washer during the washing period. I had a lot of questions for him and stated all of my concerns. He reassured me that it is very common and completely normal for the washing to move at this very slow speed and moving in a short clock-wise counter-clockwise movements with the loud sounds that it makes, this is how it operates. The only time its fast is when it spins to get rid of the water from the clothes/sheets into the perforated drum. Because it generally washes very slow, I added more time on "Presoak' so the detergent can stay on the clothes/sheets longer - smells fresher, clothes are more clean. Also, keep in mind - sometimes when you load your washer with clothes; while it 'senses/detects' (balancing/sensor issues) the load it may show an error like it can't track it. This means to re-adjust the clothing or even it out in the drum. Sometimes this can occur in the middle of the clothes being washed such as when it spins really fast (the only time its fast) to get rid of the water from the clothes) and you will have to pause it and fix the clothe/sheets again 1x-3x once in a while or a blue moon. It can be a pain, these new appliances having sensories/auto-detecting! :)

    I absolutely hate this washer/dryer. I am still paying on it so I'll be stuck with it for a bit. (1) Sometimes the appliance won't even turn on, so I unplug it and try it again. (2) Once I start a cycle, I can't change it without cancelling the previous cycle; even if I pressed the wrong cycle and quickly try to change it. When that happens the washer will drain all the water before starting the new cycle- talk about a waste! (3) On more than three occasions the buttons flash and go crazy; I have had to unplug the unit. (4) I'm really not sure the Load & Go is a good feature as my clothes don't seem clean. It doesn't seem to be going down so clearly it isn't using any detergent. (5) It always seems to be off balance, even with lighter items. I ONLY bought this machine because the agitator comes out; I have bulk items to wash. I wish I had NEVER bought these.

      Did you go online and register your unit? You may be able to reset the unit from there. They have a help desk online and they can offer up a solution. You could try unplugging the unit for 5 minutes and then plug it back in.
      Good luck!
