Justin Poirier is definitely the most underrated sniper in this draft. 51 goals in 64 games is pretty impressive.

A lot of people (scouts included) don't like drafting smaller skill guys out of the Q because they just rarely translate to the NHL for some reason so if anything he probably falls further. Similar to what we saw happen with Dumais
@eliaminator2313 Even so, i hope the Flames draft him. He’s going to be a third round pick most likely and it’s not bad value.

The thing I disagree with most is classifying a lot of these players as underrated. Most of the names you're mentioning are some of the most talked up names in the draft. I do get that there's a difference between being talked about a lot and consensus having them ranked lower than they are, but I feel like they're generally pretty close to where you're talking about them.
I have Henry Mews in my top 20, a lot of people I see rank prospects have him 25-40 I think he can be the steal of the draft

I’m really looking forward to this draft. 10-32 seems like a complete crap shoot. There’s guys projected to go 25-30 on some lists that aren’t even top 40 on some others. Should be some surprises.
Mac Swanson lacks on size and can score really good offensively guy and can help on the power play. And matvei grinding he is a big guy wins puck battles excellent pass and ahas a wicked shot.

t.stiga and a.kleber are my two favorite 2nd rd. targets (#34 + #50) for the hawks.
I LOVE Badinka. He handles pressure SO WELL. 6'3 RHD just below 200 pounds, The profile is usually a 1st rounder and I think he is getting slept on hard. Whoever takes him is going to get some nice potential and a good prospect I can see being on a NHL blue line in just a couple years
Lots of great D this draft. Won't surprise me if we see a adam fox type of steal in the later rounds.
This is so bold, but I see Stiga as a top 10 player in the draft. Every time I watch him, I see nothing wrong with his game apart from using his size. He's basically Brad Marchand.

I agree with you on most of these guys and Im really hoping Kleber falls to the Sens somehow whether they trade up for him into the late 2nd round or get him in the 3rd. He just seems like a guy that can develop into a Cernak/Pulock type with less offense but still a great shutdown dman that you can play from your 1st to 3rd pair as a complementary shutdown guy

Yes fortunately for the Blackhawks Stan Bowman is no longer their GM. He passed on both Bouchard and Noah Dobson to draft Adam Boqvist!!!🤦🏻♂️
Dominka Badinka, Charlie Elick, EJ Emery, Harrison Brunick. 3 of these guys will likely be 2nd or 3rd round picks. All can be top 4 defenseman

How can you say that Buium won't be a superb defensive player at the NHL level? Buium shut down Celebrini in the championship game. He is one of the best defensive players in this draft; better than Levshunov, Parekh, Yakemchuk.
Buium and Dickinson are the two best Defensemen in the draft
Afons Freij will come out as best dman this crop when it all shakes out
2024 draft is not bad at all the top 10 is just not that great
After Celebrini it's very unpredictable where everyone else goes
