I love that!!! And not just with the toaster but it’s a bond and trust between the two of you that you don’t need to ask 21 questions. You’ll hear about it later 😂
I don't think any story you tell can be boring. I wish I was your friend. Your stories better my day. I'm an early childhood educator so I can relate to your stories so much. Thank you for being you ❤
That is very sweet. That is pure love. your partner calls with a need you can provide no questions asked. I am happy to do what my partner needs when and if i can.
I totally get it. When my husband was working in home improvements, I would get a call to bring him something that seemed off the wall. I didn't even bat an eye at it. I brought whatever he needed.
I know that's right! It goes for teacher's families. When I was teaching (now retired), I would ask for school supplies for Christmas presents or bday presents. After a few years, no one asked why. LOL #teacherlife
A teacher forgets to give her own kid the money for a school thing. I no longer feel the least twinge of guilt for the times I forgot something. ;) Cheers!
Yeah no spouses of teachers learn very quickly and very early and their marriage things to do the classic saying shoot first ask questions later it's just easier that way then to do with the other way around so just save so much time in the end
I rarely carry cash. Ugh. I need to start keeping cash on me for stuff like this. Being a widowed mom with an 18 yo who works as an electrician and a 10 yo in school gets a little confusing. Unfortunately, my mom and gma passed away right after husband. I havent had a day away from my kids for several yrs but there are no complaints here other than needing to remember to keep cash around the home.
I love it! I'll have to say though, that my husband did start to ask questions when I asked for things like dry ice --- for the homecoming volcano, of course! 😅
During the pandemic we ran out of soap and we were told that we weren't going to have any more soap in our hall for a month and for the kids to just use hand sanitizer when they came back from the bathroom. 🤢 At the time we lived 3 minutes from school and I called my husband who had not gone to work yet begged him to bring 12 bottles of soap one for each teacher in the hall and a big huge refill container and he did it without complaint. Totally get this story.
I really love your stories. I would be asking all kinds of questions, my brother says I'm just to noisy,he would love your wife because she just whatever no questions, he says most women are to noisy.
My husband just told me has been looking for the jam (jelly!) all week, and just kinda sighed when I told him I took it into school on Monday for my kids to bake cakes with! After a decade of teaching...he's used to it 😂
I think it is More to do with Both of you being awesome!!. If my Husband called me Im there with what ever he needs Most of the time.. She is Just there for you100. I Bet You Both give each other exactly what the other wanted for Christmas. LOL I took My Husband to "" try Out" his present before we bought it.
I guess the crazy stuff that goes on teaching kids that age teaches her not to ask questions. It's also the engineer type brain. My dad is an electrical engineer and just give him the facts, not the whole long back story or anything he doesn't need....just the facts 😅
She's a keeper Jere! Better let her keep tampering with your lunch. 🤢🤮❤ I think if I were married to you I might eventually give up on asking questions too....because you are trusty like that. Solid marriage, happy family. Keep God first. God will help you serve your spouse, and you will help each other raise your children. And help each other with toaster related shenanigans.

I brought a toaster to class once for our end of year potluck! It felt so absurd and out of place. I loved it.

I find in marriage its a lot of "yes and". You always have time later for explanations 😂

No pranks, just a toaster with no questions asked ❤
