- I went to Ecola State Park to photograph the sunrise, but ended up capturing a stunning sight: a herd of majestic elk grazing against the backdrop of the beautiful view.
Did you know that elk are one of the largest species of deer, with males (bulls) weighing up to 700 pounds? They are also known for their impressive antlers, which can grow up to four feet long and weigh up to 40 pounds. Elk are herbivores and eat a variety of plants, including grasses, shrubs, and bark. They are native to North America and can be found in a variety of habitats, from forests to grasslands to deserts.

Hi Mr. Zoomdak!
I am so sorry I lost words at this moment
I am not sure what camera you own, but definitely it is paid off to capture this elegance of these creatures in distance
May I ask how far you were away from elk when you filmed?
Beauty, Royal, Reputation, and... their back postures make perfect line.. from my perspective.
It is like a fashion show...hahaha
You watch them, but actually you were watched !? Don't you think? You may have held your breath while you film your selection of compositions.
I had goosebumps on my arms, Mr. Zoomdak.
Thank you very much for your laborious work. Superior!!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm delighted you enjoyed this video of the elk so much. You're right, it was breathtaking to watch them from a distance. I was about 200 yards away using a telephoto lens to film them. Holding still and quiet to not disturb them was part of the challenge! Thanks for your support
@@Zoomdak Mr. Zoomdak...waiting for you to surprise me again...hehe
