- Living on a tour bus is a really incredible experience, but it can be very daunting if you have never done it before. I had the chance to do a "short term" tour on a bus with music artist Charity Gayle this year that lasted an entire month. During that time I documented a lot of things that we experienced so I can give you guys a behind the scenes look at what life is like on a tour bus.

Josh Anderson is top notch. I had the honor of getting to know him when he did a complete overhaul of our church audio and lighting. Awesome guy, very knowledgable and he's got some chops on just about every instrument. So good to see him again, even if through a screen.
I was able to see you again at one of y’all’s GA stop. Seeing your group was a wonderful experience. Went to see Charity on a date with my wife and got so much more than I paid for. Charity and Ryan are amazing Christ Like people. I also got to see my favorite “Bass Man” along with one of my favorite Drummers. I pray God continues to Bless you.

If you only had to live a real tour life, this would be heaven. Not bitter, but just understand how good you have it. So many would love to have that lavish life.
Late night meetings at a bus depot or other destinations at the start of a tour for a travel day are a sign of a cheap route to avoid additional day rates for each person another rather than having the travel day ahead of the show day.
Seems like this was a fun tour. Sharing a bus with others definitely creates bonds that are like family.

Mine was in the secular ( Tejano ) based out of Corpus Christi TX it was fun . I toured for a little over a year playing guitar. You eat dinner at 2 in the morning lol very odd hours bur fun

Watching this months later, but this is so much fun to watch. I remember being in a youth worship band doing small tours in a really small van. but all of us reminds me of those days. I still tour occasionally today but something about this environment brings up a lot of those memories from when i was younger and first getting my feet wet. This was awesome to watch!
What a great video. I lived on several busses back in the ‘70s. Natalie Cole, LTD and Frank Zappa. This brought back a bunch of memories. Funny how things change, but remain exactly the same.

As a man that's traveled for a living, this is one thing I don't care for doing. Not interested in living on a bus. But one thing I must congratulated on is the artist and the Swiss army knife taking it up on themselves to own the bus.

Charity Gayle needs a new BUSINESS manager! The reason artist's stopped BUYING buses is because when you own it you can only write off DEPRECIATION. When you LEASE IT you can write off EVERYTHING!!!! (driver salary, fuel, maintenance etc etc etc)

22 years…on a tour bus….it’s never not interesting….
This looks, and is, a living hell. Awful congested bus. Things breaking. People exhausted, complaining and whining. Smelling because they rarely shower. Memories? Yeah, a stint in prison also produces memories. This life is glorified, but inglorious. Add to that the worship of non-existent deities and you end up with a truly horrific lifestyle and life ethic. Awful.
