A very cool expose!
Can you do a bass cover of strong tower by James Wilson?
Super interesting video insightful!
Great video! Will you also show us how you travel with your bass? It looks like you have it with you at the gate, but then what? DO you buy an extra ticket for it? Does the crew stow it away for you? What kind of case do you have to make sure it's protected? Do you purchase flight insurance for it? Enquiring musicians need to know! 😂👍🏽 Thanks in advance!
down for more of this"thanks
Really interesting video! When I leave for a tour I spend most of my time with anxiety until I start to play. Fun fact is I don't feel the same when traveling for tourism. This is something I have to work on, but watching your video is kind of helping and inspiring.
Yeah man, I used to feel the same way when I first got started and as soon I found a good group of musicians that were all friends around me I realized I didn't always have to be stressed.
Thanks for watching man.
@@TravisDykes yeah I think touring with my current band should be cool. Thanks! Preparation is the key to avoid some stress so I keep working on the set. Relationships with the other band members is pretty good... I must think about that nothing bad is gonna happen.
good video man!
This man is so right your band is your family
Well said brotha
OMG i wish i had this info 20 years ago. Its so important to gel with other guys in a non musical way.
I feel like I should be touring already 😄😅

This is so cool, wish I could venture into something like this, maybe I need to branch out? 😅
Bro. Do any of you do custom fitted ear buds for your IEM's? If not, how do you find the right ear bud fit for your IEM's? This may be a good future video to talk about IEM'S.
Brooo keep em coming, new subscriber
Welcome bro!
dont know why the algorithm sent me this but loved the video
I love seeing Presonus being used by artists, I feel less alone haha
Interesting!
Cnt wait.........
Who organizes all the traveling and booking of flights?
That groove at 11:40 though... 👍🏾
How do you go about being discovered to put yourself into this position?
Wait was that Red Young I saw in there?
That Word on PREP was a word in season lol
Yes it was! Lol
Leaning 50 songs in such a short time is quite a task. As a professional, are you able to perform flawless ( ex no wrong note) and if not, how do you fix the mistake.
05:45 the trusty ole a7iii.

Baltimore! What part of town are you from Julian?
Watching this while sitting my lazy butt in my studio
Hey! what’s the name of the Drummer ?
That was really interesting. For a brief tour like this do you travel with your own instruments or do use house instruments?
It depends Ed. You almost always you travel with your own instruments, effects pedals, etc. Any amps and speaker cabinets are typically provided by the live sound company or venue, unless your using an in-ear monitoring system, in which case you would use your own in-ear monitors, which would be connected to the sound company or house system to get your mix. Depending on the show or tour, the drummer may play a house kit or another kit that's not his own, but in most cases they will bring and play their own kit. Usually only larger tours bring their own PA systems to the venue. Most tours typically use the house system and just bring their own sound engineer to run it since he knows the sound and mix the artists/band is going for. as well as the songs so he can ride the faders and make adjustments accordingly during the show. Hope that helps!
Hey love the video question when you fly how do you take your bass on planes I be flying out of state and don't know if I can bring the bass on the the plane with me or you send it through luggage belt can you recommend a case for me?
I usually take my bass as a carry-on on the the plane or gate checking it. Because checking your bass is always too much of a gamble to take.
@@TravisDykes yeah I flew with my bass for the first time I was so nervous but it all work out now just bought a gruv gear kapsule for my bass for my next flight thanks for the response and keep the videos coming 👍
Can you give us some advice on becoming a touring musician. I’ve been playing for several years at my church but would like to go out and play at venues.
I hope it works out for you bro!
Dude, I can't have anything on my wrists or fingers when I play. Obviously your totally sweet with it. I see you have your (looks heavy) watch on when playing.
Main reason I can't get married, I could never wear my ring and play. 😂
Memphis 👍👍👍💪
Asa is my cousin!!!
