- Leon, Pete and Kamall all play for the U15s and they’re all centre-halves. Three players but only two places in the starting lineup; competition is fierce.

Kamal is such a likable kid .
I LOVE the support and consistent involvement of the parents, lovely sight man.
This is an impressive piece of work from Cristal Palace youth academy. Me as a grassroots coach,I’m enjoying each moment of those episodes. One day,I hope to be there, learn from them and exchange experiences. I’m driven by seeing how their academy is well organized, with all those coaches and experts who is working hard on daily bases, focusing on all small details to help out their players.
Leon’s mom just sees the money, using her son for money. Terrible.
Real thing she not gonna meet no way with that shit
why do you think parents send there kids to college.. use common sense. all our parents used us for money.. a majority.. taxes, help when theyre old, even if out of wetlock..
@@joshuabrown2134Thats not true

Football is a business. Only a fool won’t seek the best interest of their child. The kid has potential and she is laying the foundation for his career.
Leon's mum..this isn't about you
Leon's mom is a bowling ball 😂 womp womp
Leons mom is smart, yaw just mad... if she let him run the streets and be unproductive youd be crying in the future once he becomes incarcerated. at least there channeling his energy into something positive.. you guys just like her because she a caucus single mom with a mixed son. get over it... and his confidence is immense. if he does fail yea it'll be hard, but im not rooting for him to fail just cause i dont see or agree with how him and his mom think and move.. some weird hateful people out here. and from what i see in his mom if he does fail shes not going to allow him to be a failure period.. 2+2=4 and 3+1=4. theres different ways to the same solution. get over it.. and with kamall thats palaces fault. get him the gym and work on his flexibility especially his hip area. he need to do squats, have him copy wembys routine. theres no excuse for that and its crazy how there putting the blame on a child and his growth spurt. where are the trainers. why are they not in the gym...
Well said
bro you just mad and nobody said racist stuff and kamal needs no work hes good hes better than leon
Kemall Wilson is now playing in Sheffield United
“ Pelé’s Dad once Said. i know you are nervous, everybody feels the same. “
Leon am pretty sure he is gona a good player wherever he goes, feel bad fr Kamal his legs don’t look to help him look very week
He’s signed with Ipswich now in the Premier League
Love kamal and Leon
Current teams
Leon - Ipswich
Pete - Cambridge United
Kemal - Sheffield United
see thats the issue. kids now a day wants $$$ and fam and women. they aren't playing for the love of the game . that mindset make a loser player and international team lose and club player.
Exactly. I love hearing the kid’s who dream of playing for England someday, but when they mention Lamborghini’s you just know they’re gonna fall short at some point. Parents are no better for supporting those materialistic dreams.
The thing is, even in my country kids see sports (and entertainment) as a way to get rich quick and having easy life without having high level of academic qualifications. Even today, those that play everyman's sport (like football) mostly come from poor and uneducated background, often occupy the last places in the academic exams in schools. Those that play niche sports on the other hand mostly came from a more educated background and often perform well in exams.
Not surprising that the former group tend to struggle in adult life and depending heavily on the sports to make the ends meet. The latter group have higher dropout rate in sports, yet they are better off in their adult life because academic qualifications means more life options for them.
Personally this is the very reason why I hate and totally oppose professionalism of sports; the moment the sports got profesionalised it open the floodgates of people who play because of the money and not for the love of the sport.
@@kevinnivek8907how what kid doesn’t want a Lamborghini or some sort of sports cars want them to drive in a bubble car
Im a fanatic soccer dad from America my sons a 14 year old keeper....and im loooooooving this content... cheers
I'm a player from America 👍
im short but i am also experciancing knee problems like kamal and i am struggling so i hope my knee can recover quickly
It could be osgood shlater or just grow in pains
they should be happy my dream is to play for an academy
If I was in this academy very first I'm putting this on God Jesus, I'm not focused on anybody else but myself, I don't care if anyone's better than me or the pressure that is around me I'm just doing what God can do through because that's all i can do And we can do
And that’s why you’re not in one 😂
@@ivy8483 well your wrong I'm not in one because I don't love the game like they do and I don't want to be in one But if I did I will have the same mentality but developed
@@aarondavoes that mentality is universal. Coulda woulda shoulda
Idk what u mean? But look man I'm not trying to be soft or anything I have a lot to say right But I'm not trying to make that really big paragraph however these academy coaches are right about the reality of football world by I'm not going to go in with that mentality worrying and stressing Yes work hard Yes take the opportunity if it's there and really try to put in your best effort but I'm not going to sulk like peter or Ben and go down on myself it's whatever and move on
Nvm I made a big paragraph ☠️
@@aarondavoesGod is the best 💪
that woman said its abt the team, selfish lol
I don’t think there is anything wrong with saying it’s not about the team, for the parents it’s about their own kids.
Even from the teams point of view it’s about producing two or three professionals. It’s a business!
The parents being present like that is just terrible...

Are there any serious academies in South Africa 🇿🇦 that are like this?
not as good as this, you'd have to be a massive talent to even get noticed by European countries
Funny dog 23:51
Leon Elliott now plays for Ipswich. As a professional.
u18 isnt a pro
How can I get signed by an academy for africa
Start by joining an academy in your country
An academy in Europe
Get yourself a human trafficking agent, like amad from united or Silas from Stuttgart I wouldn't recommend it
@@JeromeMwaendanawa if you’re able to join an academy in your country that qualifies for international tournaments. If you perform well in those tournaments there’s a good chance of being scouted by European teams.

The way these coaches coach, is the reason england doesn't have world class players. They kill creativity
Bellingham, Saka, Kane? Ain't they world class?
Fr what is he talking about?
@PeasAreCool20 kane is, the other two aren't. Either way Bellingham finishes developing in Germany. These coaches kill creativity
@@EugenesBackpack I still disagree. There are a lot of players is England with a very special and unique play style.
Kane isn't the only talented player in England. Van Dijk, Salah, KDB, Haaland
@@PeasAreCool20those aren’t English, they play in the English league though.. raised elsewhere and started elsewhere
