Hi Ana,my wife and I lived in alfaz for many years,I watch your videos regularly,we now live in Austria but after 15 year's in Spain it still makes me home sick.We were in benidorm for a month in October,keep posting the videos.

Spazzo is a nice restaurant . I and my wife always go to Spazzo when we are in the Alicante region. We order the same food always, a plate of huge mussles italian style (plenty for two), pommes frites, a bottle of white house wine, and a banana split (it is huge , lots for 2 persons ) and coffee. Very price worthy since the plates are very generous . You must try it for yourself ! Thanks for your videos !

Great video Ana. We often go to Spasso when we stay in Benidorm, a few years ago we rented an apartment directly above Spasso, (i can actually see it on your video the very top penthouse apartment) so we used Spasso a lot while we were there. We had breakfasts and evening meals there throughout our 2 weeks , all very nice. The pizzas are very good.🍕 and the burgers are good too.🍔. We also found in busy times that the service can be a bit slow. We also went there several times last November when we were over. We did have a mix up one morning with the breakfast as my friend ordered 4 breakfasts whilst i was on the phone, when the breakfasts arrived it was 4 Spanish breakfasts the ones with the ham & cheese instead of the English breakfast, i asked if we could change it and apologised that my friend had ordered the wrong breakfasts. The waiters reply was a straight NO..! Now i thought that was bad management as there was 4 of us spending over €30 as we also ordered seperate coffees & juice, they surely could of easily changed it for us. 🤔 Anyway we ate the breakfasts and it was ok. We did go back a few more times and had evening meals, pizzas, pasta burgers & fries which were all very nice. And my partner ordered the mixed combo which was mussels, prawns, pizzza and things which he really enjoyed. We did get another English breakfast and it was ok, but ive had better breakfasts. Aromas cafe just further down the front do a lovely English breakfast for £3.50. 🍳🥓 The coffe at Spasso is very nice though for the price ☕ and we will definitely be back at Spasso when were next over. ☕☕☕😁😁 x

Had many evening meals in Spasso the chicken ceaser salad was huge and very fresh also the home made lasagna was delicious

Unfortunately, I think this is not uncommon anywhere these days.
Many businesses have forgotten why they are in business in the first place.
I wonder if they've left menus on the table as it's better for customers who aren't tech savvy. My parents struggle with QR code menus as they say they struggle to read it on their phones & I've seen older people who really struggle with it.
I fully agree, as I have often eaten breakfast there as well. But my favourite place to go for coffee is Calle Gambo.
I love spasso, always go there for coffee, very cheap & fantastic views, their pizza’s are amazing too

Amazing we missed you, we were there when you recorded, even clearly visible right behind you…..we always have our morning coffee at Spasso, and do not need to order any more, coffee comes very quickly, we are served as regular guests, having a great time. It’s true many tourists come to Spasso, but we also see a lot of Spanish locals, enjoying their coffee and toast…..and English tourist for a real English breakfast, we are always amazed how they can eat it…and yes, we always disinfect our hands before sitting down, and again when we leave, shouldn’t everyone do this? Thanks for your video!

Do you tip the waitress/waiter or is that included in the meal?
As for the less than 5 minutes you could use: “Bistro! Bistro!” (Russian for “hurry!”),
Usually the tip here is not included, so people tend to leave some extra money, if the service was good. The more they spent, the more tip they usually leave. It's true however, that locals are not as keep on leaving tip, as tourists do..

There're a lot of good places, one of them is typical Spanish in front of Melia Benidorm, on the corner. They offer true Spanish meals, and toasts are usually very good, but its a simple place, no luxury 👍😊

last Spanish breakfast i had was in Barcelona where the locals eat they rubbed garlic on the toast after it was cooked also mushrooms and egg and a piece of ham/bacon which was very very salty needed 2 coca cola to wash it down lots of locals were having cooked fish looked like sardines did not like the look of your toast coffee and orange looked great how was it being a tourist for the day another great video Ana keep them coming
In every region they have typical breakfast, however it's true, that some of the dishes here are very salty...🤦🏻♀️ being tourists for a day was strange, but good to see the true service👍

You mean the Costa Coffee on the first line of the beach? No, it's permanently closed... I will do a video shortly about new places open on the Levante Beach 😊👍
