In the eleventh episode, I am getting back to the Architects3DP MEGA big size 3D Printer after almost two years, getting it updated to continue with the build and solving the existent issues.
The Architects3DP MEGA is our most ambitious project so far here at Architects3DP. With this series, I'm gonna show you how to build a big 3D Printer, but also with industrial quality components for a low price.
Due to the BIG size of the Architects3DP MEGA 3D Printer, you'll be able to print with dual extruders, big size objects in real life scale.
Instead, if you want a standard size 3D Printer, definitively check out our Architects3DP i3 series, where we built a 250 x 240 x 200 mm DIY good quality 3D Printer for under $200.

Would a "fin" on the cable chain to fit in the extrusion have worked? I know the clips solved the problem, and you weren't going to waste time and material printing them again.

Hey Greg! That would be a cool solution, but I would have to re-design the cable chain completely, since it’s designed to be printed resting on the printbed with no supports… if you add sth that goes even lower than the base, the chain links might be printed vertically, so the design should be changed to not have more than 45° overhangs and so on.. anyways it is a great and cleaner idea! 💡 thanks 😃
