My first printer. I recommend upgrading the bed springs immediately. Otherwise you will be disappointed by the bed not staying level or just working itself apart.

if your getting a lot of burning then either increase the speed or lower the power regardless of trying to cut in one pass, so then add another pass so you get better quality remember these laser work rather fast so a cost of an extra pass is worth it to have nice cuts also make sure you have a good pump and on :)

Great review! First time using a 3D printer so I appreciate the detailed setup as compared to the instructions that came with the printer that have tiny images.

I have had this printer for some months now and appreciate the speed, accuracy and absence of level shifts thanks to the feedback mechanism. However there is something wrong with the automatic leveling software, as it does not seem to compensate right, even after measuring all 16 level points. As there are no screws for manual bed adjustments, tilt as well as wobbely beds must be compensated from those sixteen samples, but it does not. The first layer is far from even in thickness and bed attach will suffer.

I took this laser engraver. After a week, the laser stopped burning. The laser focus point floated to a plane 0 mm from the body. I had to remove 3 mm of the aluminum body using a router. This is the quality. I wrote to support, they replied that they had forwarded my letter somewhere and that was it. There is no manufacturer's warranty. An acquaintance also bought this model and also stopped burning after a couple of weeks.

Wich filaments fit? Does a 1.75mm fit?

This is perfect for hotend management, it looks like psu pc extension cable. Only problem is i wanted more cables 24 for all the goodies with different sizes. This is perfect

I got an A5S second gen. ( The one that says JGAURORA instead of 3D PRINTER on the front) and it is nothing special but it just works and it's good enough for me. Still working to this day with no issues.

Am impressed with the build of the printer, we'll see how it goes but can feel vibrations on bench so needs a very stable base to sit on.

Looks great but all comments on Amazon said that the machine autodestroys after some days of use, not weeks, days. Looks like the Thunder is made with very cheap material that makes it unreliable, that is very sad

I appreciate the review, though it looks as though your main issue was that you did not use air assist to aid in cutting the plywood.

The SD card that came with my machine had a file on it to set up lightburn. when I inserted the card it said it needed to be formatted.after that it erased the files. Does anyone know where I can get the file. any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm - I just bought this machine. Even the last test you did had burned edges, which I don't see happening with other machines - so maybe it is the material PLUS the adjustments PLUS contacting the company , etc., etc., etc. Even, maybe, you got a machine where the beam is not perfectly aligned? That laser head is probably two 5W lasers that have to be perfectly lined up, and maybe it is not perfect because it was bumped or something. I just hope I do not have these issues!

Did 3 level shelf for 3d printer from 4x ikea lack. Big mistake. This thing is very unstable (shaking in all directions). Something like ikea bror would be probably better (didn't test yet).

To raise the extruder, press and hold the play button.

The bed leveling needs to be done the other way around. First the AUX with the 5 points manual, then the automatic one. If you do the automatic one first, when you do the AUX it will basically break whatever mesh it was calculated before.

We just bought an Ender 3 S1 Plus, it has a faulty SD card slot. The UK vendor and Creality are dragging their heals with replacement. Absolutely terrible support. So we haven't managed to print a thing and nobody is willing to replace it or supply a new main board.
