Its insane to know that Kyle isn't that deep of a bass, I mean I can sing every note he sings, but jesus christ that resonance in the lower end is NUTS
Same; I took a break from singing so im getting back my lows atm, but when i used to be able to hit C2s it still amazed me how well he utilizes his lows. The way he saves his lowest to be used at specific points in the song makes them feel so much lower then they are and its an absolute stroke of composing genius

Here's something you'll never be able to un-hear: they pronounce the final lyric as "ilse" because it works better for resonance matching than "else". They're just really subtle about it so you don't notice until it's pointed out to you.
2:28 onward is my favourite part. The dynamics! So good!

This is really quite a fantastic performance. I think the dynamic expressivity is a lot better here than it has been in past performances. The balance is also really clear and supportive of the texture.

There are four dislikes. That could mean a quartet disliked this. My money is on the premise that A Mighty Wind disliked this because Instant Classic passed them by.

This is better than any of their performances in the 2015 Finals.
It's nuts how much they improved just a year after having won.
