They reduced the opening hours to evening service on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Kingston Cafe closed in November 2012 BUT reopened in November 2013, with a new dance floor, some new menu items, the old, themed nights and an expanded bar. Gordon revisits in a Kitchen Nightmares revisited episode and meets Una, he finds out that Keone is no longer involved as he is focusing on his education. She has fired all the chefs and the serving staff and rehired all new staff. Gordon says the food is fresh, delicious and more spicy. Gordon meets new chef Christie and Una is very appreciative of Gordon's help. Yelp reviews and Trip Advisor reviews were very mixed after the show. Customers post both positive and negative reviews on the food quality and the level of service received.

A normal chef is someone who enrols in a culinary apprenticeship for 2-4 years and afterwards starts working. Gordon however, has dedicated his entire life to cooking, gone to dozens of countries and even more villages solely to improve as a chef.

Goodness, if you go read her CSU alumni page you can see just the vast amount that she's achieved in her life. Even putting the restaurant aside she'd achieved more in her first 30 years of life than many will achieve in their entire life. And yet she was still so lacking in self confidence and so afraid of failure. It really goes to show how important those formative years are that a person such as Dr Morris could still be facing that negative impact of losing her mother young so many years later. I hope she continues to do well in life, and I hope Keone has found his passion in life also.

Yep. Compared with the incompetent sociopaths we usually see on RKN, this woman is an incredible human being, whose achievements few of us could ever hope to match. And maybe fear of failure is one of the things that drives people who operate at the highest level? Having said that, he's being deliberately picky when he criticises his rice for looking like a breast implant. That neat dome is pretty much how every major restaurant serves rice. I think it's called a timbale?

I cried many times during this episode.
Chief Ramsey wasn't only a helper and a saver, but he became a psychologist doctor to ease the owner's wounds and bad memories. That's stopping her from looking onto the reality instead of being held into her old miserable childhood history.
Thanx to you chief Ramsey from your fans in Saudi Arabia .
    We love you.

Most of the owners aren't looking for help, they're looking for validation from someone famous in the culinary world, like Ramsay.
They want to pin the blame for their failure on either the employees or the community, so being called out makes them defensive.

All roasts aside this is one of my favorite episodes of kitchen nightmares. She may have been stubborn at first but that is because she's not used to asking for help but she really came around in the end. You gotta respect her, she sacrificed a lot for her son and that came from a woman without a mother.

The main reason why I watch Kitchen Nightmares a LOT is so that I can see the character development of the staffs lol It's just so satisfying.
