I’m sorry Cadillac was definitely king in those years. 76’ probably the finest, smoothest, most comfortable car in the world. I remember these. I got my DL in 76’. Drove several different cars because of job and these caddy’s are incomparable.
You cannot be serious. The 1970s was the worst decade in US car history, and this Cadillac, sold on the heels of an oil crisis, just was the icing on the cake.
the 70's had the best style on American cars, the best ride quality, the most luxury, and people loved their big cars...there's no comparison with the tin (actually plastic) cans that came in the 80's through today. its why we're looking at mid-70's Fleetwood's online and not 90's Camry's or Taurus'.
So, I am finally brushing up on my mid-70's Cadillacs. This Fleetwood Brougham is a Sedan Deville with a 3 inch wheelbase stretch (between the front and rear doors). You can tell it's a Fleetwood because there is a B Pillar between the doors. Sedan Deville is open between the doors, pillarless hard top. When finally downsized in 1977, there was no such difference between the Fleetwood and Devilles, just upgraded trim. 1973 Cadillac Fleetwoods and Devilles has the best looking grille!
are you sure? i think it is a sixty special? the term fleetwood brougham didnt really become a thing till 1977. before that fleetwood was a trim level and brougham d'elegance a higher one.
@@ImperialDiecast Hi, I can't believe I posted that a year ago already. What I was trying to say was this Fleetwood Brougham (no 60 Special since 1970) is the Sedan DeVille platform with a 3 inch stretch in the middle of the wheelbase, hence the 3 inch B pillar while the Sedan DeVille has no B pillar. I have all the brochures now so I have become an expert. The Fleetwood Brougham could also be optioned with the Talisman interior or the D'elegance interior!
great looking fleetwood but time is taking a toll on this beauty the rust under the vinyl top is bubbling thru the vinyl and lots of parts need to be replaced like the rubber around the rear back up and break lights
Nice Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special! Please paint the bumper fillers and replace the missing hood pad. Looks like the tires shine more than the paint-- you can polish this beauty even further.
Always hated how Cadillac put those cheap looking Fleetwood badges on the trunk and fenders on the '76-77 models before going back to the script Fleetwood badges in '78.
What a classic car
HI GOD BLESS....
I REALLY WANT THIS RIDE, NOW THIS IS A REAL CAR!!!!
The true height of American Luxury automobiles. Few rival's, and made a statement on the road.
Beautiful !
Beautiful car !!!! Wish they made these still !
Wow , those seats !!!
This Caddy is a tank!!! Wow!! Larger then the 80s models. Also looks like the car from Remington Steele TV series.
UP UNTIL 1977 THE 70'S CADILLAC MODELS WERE LAGER THAN EVEN THE 80'S & EARLY 90'S
Mario Gullette absolutely

Could you tell me: even Lincoln Continental 1978-1979 not so well?

1976 was the final year for the sumo sized Cadillac.
Nice car 👏👏👍
133'' Wheelbase! Incredible ride! In 1977 I think it was reduced 11.5''....
Love these cars. Finally one with full leather interior.

Nice car but need to fix the back body fillers and paint them.
Right
Black is its best color, however gloomy it may seem!

The Olds 98 had an even nicer interior for 1976, in my opinion.
Love it
