Also, those 'labour' saving techs move your population out of being low-strata which results in them getting better pay, and improving their quality of life. So you should make use of them where possible.

Especially if I was doing mixed modes on some industries. Would be nice if the game saved the state of your industries at the start of a civil war, and then returned every industry to what it was at the conclusion. Deconstructed buildings would stay deconstructed though, it isn't unrealistic that the countries economy is trashed as the result of a civil war.
Quill, private schools will be a huge debaff to your literacy due to availability of education depending on wealth
For it to match church/ public schools pops should have average income of at least 20

I get when you have a civil war the AI takes over a portion of your country, but I feel like the AI that goes into Revolt should be barred from demolishing buildings or the like until the revolt is resolved.
Total PIA to deal with resetting your entire country and hunting down changes they made to "fix" everything again.
