Copeland claims that Thug was driving the rental & saw Thomas outside the barbershop so he called up his goons, Copeland being one, & gave them the rental car to go shoot him. Then Copeland claims they met back at the McDonald’s to switch back cars & they all went to Thug’s house. This explanation given by Brian Steele makes out Copeland to be a liar and gives motive for him to kill Nut in a personal manner and not as a gang hit ordered by Thug, therefore discrediting his testimony about Thug calling the hit while also maintaining an innocence for Thug because he had no motive to kill Thomas and actually had more motives to stay out of trouble than cause crimes because he was upcoming on success legally. This story may go down as one of the key points if Thug wins the case because most of the crimes are random acts committed by people around him while this one act was the one with Thug tied into it through the rental car & testimony of Copeland.

For those of you, who don’t understand how appeals work, the appellate court is absolutely not looking at the evidence to decide whether or not someone seems to be guilty. That is not what they’re doing they’re looking at the rulings that the judge made to see if they were fair or correct and whether or not, he allowed either side to disregard the laws. Most of the evidence against Thug is heresay by other criminals, so if you simply discredit those criminals then their testimonies are deemed worthless because you can’t trust them & then you don’t have any concrete evidence. @@joequinbrownsr2414 yes I know but what he did wrong kids he gave defense knowledge that he definitely knew him as an attorney what he should’ve said this was a a tragic death, but young thug only got the Rent-A-Car to help him get jobs or to the job but he did not rent that car for no one to do a drive-by shooting and he had no knowledge of it and it’s unfortunately that a man lost his life but young thug did not get that rental car to do that.

You have 0 idea how the US court system works and it’s kinda sad. You need to do some research haha, he’s very much not done and there’s a good chance he’s found not guilty. If they had him so tied up that he was done then this case wouldn’t have made it to trial & it wouldn’t be this crazy drawn out trial that needs over 600 witnesses to try and prove a point. Most of the evidence against Thug is heresay by other criminals, so if you simply discredit those criminals then their testimonies are deemed worthless because you can’t trust them & then you don’t have any concrete evidence. They’re gonna have to try and make ties back to Thug from a bunch of random crimes other people committed and say that he was leading the acts by calling shots which is very difficult to prove, unless the prosecution comes up with a good storyline or has some smoking gun waiting at the end then they really don’t have a strong case against Thug. Plus they’re making tons of errors legally within the justice system showing that they aren’t very good at their job or that they’re trying to do as much bs as they can pull off to persuade the jury, they haven’t done anything yet in over a week now that shows Thug’s involvement in anything that led to criminal acts other than letting a guy borrow a car he rented.
