Cutting down a seat on a 2022 Honda CB500X

My wife is 4'11". This is part three of my series about making the bike fit her, Operation Unicorn. I explain the tools need and some of the things I learned while cutting down the seat.

I shaved about 3 inches and added a half inch of gel. My wife has put over 8k miles and never complained of a sore butt.

@@bikerforlife5222 thanks.. I panicked for no reason. The newly launched NX500 has the same seat height. Surprisingly I can put both feet down thanks to the suspension. Now, I'm confident both about myself and the bike about handling.
If someone who is under 5 feet can enjoy riding this machine then who am I to whine about short heights.. Thanks so much. :)))

Man you must be really short to have to cut down a cb500x seat. I have the opposite problem, way too tall :(

Wife is 4'11". Her feet were 6 inchs off the ground stock. She is still tippy toe after all my chopping.
