Please note that KTC is a brand that is exclusive to a very limited number of countries in the world. As such the vast majority of people will not be able to purchase a KTC monitor at a reasonable price.
I think that's probably why they went with their pricing. They anticipated some price hikes, and made room for those increases to help sales.
the eom behind ktc produce also monitor for LC power and for Koorui, so maybe if in your country is not avaibile, you could check if there is this other brand avaibile (lc power are the same, also in the shell, koorui have a sligthly modified shell but pannel and menu are the same)
Love your videos dude . Best I’ve seen yet . Gonna def get a ktc monitor . The mini led one
BIG thanks for the detailed review!!🤟
Got this in a few days ago and its a great budget oled monitor! Its got me motivated to finish ori and the will of the wisps and the inky blacks and pretty colors really pop out! Once you go oled you cant go back!
27 inch 1440p is the perfect monitor to flank a 48" OLED main panel, and I would love one that is OLED, but not for $800+
It is clearly meant to be used as the main monitor. Your oled is probably a TV.
It's $599 on Amazon right now.
@@OC.TINYYYI see it I’m about to purchase it
nah, the second he mentioned a matt coating on a oled i lost interest, like OLED's aren't bright for SDR content and the matt coating makes it even worse when a light source reflects on it, never understood why put on a matt coating on a OLED.
I actually prefer it.
@@cyf3r the thing about Matt screens it makes things look blurrier than it should be.
Is the gigabyte m32u monitor still a good monitor to buy for half gaming and half basic uses ?
I owned an Alienware laptop with an RTX 4080, I wanted to expand the monitor with this nice OLED, do you recommend it? thanks and nice video
I got it for 615 on Amazon during a flash sale, an excellent buy at that price
What an amazing looking monitor!
I love the video, but the best part was that shirt. It's art
I really like the bezeless design. However, I wish there was a glossy option
What about this monitor is bezel-less? Unless you mean the uniformity of the bezel width all the way around, this bezel is disappointingly thick
Does someone know how to turn off this monitor completely cause when i “turn it off” the power light keeps blinking and its annoying
For a negligible amount more (or even less when its on sale) I can order a corsair xeneon 27 inch oled, 1440, 240hz, 0.03ms response time, hdr10, gsync compatible, all in a much nicer package from a more reputable brand. There is almost no reason to buy this at the amazon price of 900USD plus shipping and taxes.
The specs are basically identical, so dunno why you listed all of them. Most people are probably just gonna buy the cheapest model with the panel in their region.
@Volker_A4 that's kinda why I listed all of them. To show that they've got identical specs, but one is in a way better package and is practically the same price.
@Volker_A4 and that's not the only one, that's just the one I found that was totally equal in price, there are oled 240hz monitors from more reputable companies than KTC for LESS money. You can get comparable options for like 800-850. Like I just don't understand the whole framing of this video, and especially the title. Unbelievable monitor for the price is so misleading when its actually kind of just what all of the monitors using these panels cost...
@@FutureKLX300SMowner Right now I can pick this model up fo 680 € in europe which quite cheaper that any other comparable monitor.
The Xeneon has the same Panel from LG
You had me at Matte Screen! Can't do it lol. Need that Gloss for my OLED monitor.
Do you think it looks better? Just curious never had an oled or seen one not even in a store display. I was going to blind buy this.
Glossy is always better with OLED
@@mrreflecting
I love matte not a fan of glare from lights and windows
There’s literally another channel comparing both lit 0 difference.
@@mrreflecting glossy screens make the color pop! But if you have a lot of light in your room, the reflections may be a bother to you. Play at night to get the most out of your oled screen as it is something to behold.
im still at 36 seconds and the box is already at a "wow" level
and I just pulled the trigger on a Samsung 32-inch 4k neo G7... wish i knew.. i wanted oled...
hi, I first wanted to buy the Asus 27 Oled because of the missing fan. That's why I sent the LG back. the KTC is a good alternative. Here it costs €300 less than the Asus. I just want to work on Office Word documents for 4-5 hours every week spread over 4 days, the rest or main use is gaming and media and the KTC should be dimmed heavily with full screen white. Is it worth €300 more for the Asus?
excactly the same as you.i returned back lg 27 oled.only 2 days tested.i play only warzone and its was realy dark for me especialy in ashica map.i just order the asus oled and i wait around 15 days.i think is the most brighter 27 inc oled monitor until now.my current monitor is g7 and is very good.i just want little more responsive and better collors in hdr.
@@nikosfotiadis5600 my Asus arrived monday 😎
ordered mine nov 22 and its dec 5th and i have amazon prime and still haven't received it. better be worth it smdh
Nice, and it has a $100 off coupon currently on Amazon
still rocking a Dell s2716dg display!
Why are people comparing this to a 40+ inch TVs or cheaper monitors that have worse specs lol They serve completely different purposes. It's a great monitor for a competitive price. If you find something identically for less, then sure. Something more expensive, but a better warranty then I get it. But some of you are off your rocker with the comparisons lol
For some reason part of the OLED crowd is unable to imagine any other use case apart from their own, and they feel the need to let everybody else know.
So...They use lg panel too?
crosshair of the monitor is a selling point for me lol i cant game without it
Nice monitor!
why do you say it is cheaper than the LG when it is not? The 27GS95QE-B is $729 and the KTC is $799
Good afternoon, I have the same monitor, but for some reason I can't turn on 240 Hz, it shows only 144, and there is an item with a different resolution in the monitor menu on the scale, but for some reason I can't turn it on. through Windows, it also shows only 144. maybe the computer is not powerful enough? 4070 ti i5 13600 kf ,ddr 5 6000 trident z5 neo RAM, msi z790 pro a wifi motherboard. Can you please help
U Need display port cable. Not use HDMI
Hdr?
For $900 it better mow the lawn too.
To my knowledge don’t all oleds have an infinite contrast ratio, why is this one 1.5mil/1 vs infinite?
Matte display greys out blacks
The matte coating reduces the contrast ratio of a monitor.
Ahh I didn’t know that ty
amazon has a really good deal on this monitor right now. i would never pay the msrp but with the deal it turned out to be only $515 which is a steal!
$515? how?? I see it for 600
@@Chiragk23 there's a 10% off promo code you have to hit redeem before you place it in your cart.
@@Chiragk23 with the prime membership coupon it was $515 but do to the high demand for this monitor. The price has already gone up .
ahh makes sense. thank you @@sunshifty
I was saddened they didn't have a 4k oled in a 32-inch, just 2k and no curved monitors. Looking to upgrade. Not bad pricing. Did like the 4k 42inch, but was a tad disappointed in the refresh rate. But the 27 inch would make a great side monitor for my current setup since I want to practice coding. I like that they're frameless
If you wait until Jan msi I think are going to have some banger oled panels
I need triples for sim racing but there are no reasonable 32’+ options that are 1440 or 4k
@adamdunne6645 yeah that's what I'm hearing. There's a channel I found today about monitors and it seems like a bad time to buy with the next generation of stuff coming out. Not only that, but some of these monitors from KTC are about a year old already, so they may be getting some newer ones also. The only bad thing is this guy hinted at the cost of monitors would be going up drastically. Granted I only watched one video of his so take it with a grain of salt
@@LorenzoJ0that's how it works, prices generally fall a bit from where they started out (current and especially previous batch of OLEDs) and the next wave of new upgraded OLED tech will be just as expensive or probably moreso than the originals were. And it'll never ever ever stop 😂😭
It's a dream monitor!
It's only 1440p. Gross. I'm at 4k 144hz. Next jump 8k 144hz or higher
I wouldn’t call $800 for 27” an amazing price point when the LG c2 exists
Dang 800? For a 1440p panel? I'll stick with my 4k 144hz ips panel for close to half the price.
@xpodx what's your monitor called? Couldn't you just dumb down the resolution to 1440p and run 240hz on it?
@@thenoobreturnz8968Not possible.
You cant UP the hz magically.
Tv vs monitor...
Not everyone wants to game on a big ol chunky slow TV.
I enjoy 24-25" and maximum FPS, but 27" with at least 1440p is that optimal sweet spot for me for more immersion and pixel density without getting too disoriented
Is it me or the right vezel is thinner than the left one?
14900k, rtx 4090 and an OLED 1440p....enough resolution and hz to clearly see the windows activation logo! Hahaha😅
Just ordered it for 584 total
Debating if i go Oled i would have to go from 32inch to 27
I went from 55 to 27 I prefer it
I wonder how many people in the comments are offering their discount codes for Windows keys.

800 is 1000 to most ppl...
I also wanted to point out that I've seen a couple really nice monitors recently and there was a really nice one for about 1k that is touchscreen and also comes with the pen and the stand was awesome on it not to mention the screen. BUT realistically if I'm spending above 1K I'm on as well go all the way to the 57-in that's coming up... I'm hoping the price drops under 2K and then I might consider it for real.

I got a KTC Mini LED M27T20 like 3 months ago, the same monitor he did a review on a while ago. Pixels died within a week. Don’t buy this brand. After that, I returned it and bought a 42 inch C3 OLED. Now I’m an OLED fanboy….. Also, HDMI 2.0 at 630 dollars in late 2023 is just laughable. Please, for your own good, don’t buy from this company.
And unbelievable from my bank account😢
I recently picked up the lg oled 240hz 27inch. and i gotta say. it was one of the worst purchases of my life. the whites on that monitor genuinely hurt my eyes due to the oily look the matte display gives it. i wouldnt be surprised if the ktc has a similar matte finish sadly.
might have been exacerbated by my visual snow, but the whites on it are REALLY dirty.
That matte is the best part about the monitor you must have eye problems
the whites are really inconsistent. The anti reflectiveness is awesome but i wouldnt give up the uniformity of the whites for it@@ultramasterultra5724

@@Fulcrumn9 nice 🙂
Great monitor but they ruined it with that Matte screen, we need gloss one!!!
The monitor looks great but OLED is a deal breaker, it's just not ready for PC monitors, within a few days taskbars will be burned into it after an 8 hour work day. if it was half the price then the risk may be worth it but until then mini LED is a better option for actually using the monitor for long periods.
I haven't seen this happen on the LG version of this.
@@MFcitrous because he doesn't know what he's talking about, blud thinks OLED monitors are at the peak brightness100% of the time, what a bozo.
it's not 2014 any more
never mini led win oled.dont forget all tecnologies will improve every year.what you think?oled stay the shame?no possible.i thing in a few years the oled tv/monitors no have problems with nothing.no burn in ,no problem with brithness.nothing.only if comming something new maybe kill the oled.for this moment oled is a king!!!!!
Matte coating on oled? That's a hard pass from me. Stupid decision by KTC putting that disgusting crap on a beautiful panel
27 inch 2k hdr10 just wont beat 2.5k dolby vision 17 inch asus rog g17 monitor by any means. Who d even pay 700 dollars for this crap.
If they would make a 1080p, 24-inch, 120hz/144hz/165hz model of this for significantly less, that would be all the average person could ask for. For many that would be the last monitor they'd ever need! We simply need more OLED monitor options! Saturate the market, PLEASE!
These OLED monitors are too expensive to produce, warranty, and support. It really doesn't make sense to try and squeeze one into a 1080p model until the price comes down. You'd still be spending over $500 I'd imagine. If you can afford to spring for an OLED monitor, you probably already sprung for a 4070 and would be bottlenecking your PC with your monitor. OLED is a premium monitor feature, makes no sense to put in a 1080 monitor intended for the budget market.
1080p monitors don't make sense anymore and haven't for at least a couple of years now.
Oled scares me cuz burn-in. Like amd drivers in the past. 😂
These stats look decent. Still need it to be 24" and glossy tho. It makes no sense to 'upgrade' to 1440p while also making the monitor larger. It's PPI that makes the quality better. 24" 1440p is the best!
The optimum size for 1440p is in fact 27". It's only 24" for 1080p. This was established years ago, so you're either way out of date, have little idea what you're talking about, or you're just trolling.
@@ObakuZenCenterNo, you're just trolling because 24" 1080p looks like garbage once you upgrade to 24" 1440p and 27" 1440p looks like 24" 1080p only a bit larger. The point of going to a higher resolution is higher pixels per inch. It's why cell phone screens look so freaking good - insane PPI.
@@cracklingiceno ur trolling bud lol 😂😂😂😂
@@ethaneaves_04 No, I'm dead serious. My main display is a 1440p 24" and my secondary is a 1080p 24". And coating grain can go to he....
Or for $200 dollars you can get a 55" 4k tv and it will do everything you need it to do, 240hz is pointless and being oled does not warrant the extreme price hike, not to mention the extra small screen size the difference between oled and other formats is minimal at best
240hz is hard to push in general, but its nice to give you leg room for when you upgrade your gpu to push those frames. Oled monitors are very new on the scene but this is only the start. I think oled will have its place in the gaming market. I love my oled tv and having an oled monitor would be a nice treat. But at the end of the day it all comes down to preference and what you need in a gaming display. The more options on the market the better for the consumer
