I love this vette, its by far my favorite. my only gripes with it are how quickly the price tag goes up if your not careful and I don't own one.
I like the reverse Captain America look, but I'd still prefer blue on white, with those red accents. Built one on Chevy's website for $67K. That's the best bang for your new car buck in the universe!

Yeah, the mode selector in the ones I’ve seen is round. Weird.
I own a Grand Sport (and had a c7 Stingray before that) and that button isn’t from a c7 of any kind. The drive mode selector in all c7s is a round dial.

I'll take the ZO6 or the Stingray. I love the way this one looks but i don't like the "in between" cars. Why would i want a more comfortable ride in a performance car?

Is there room under the hood for a turbocharger and a supercharger?
It's the same body treatment as the Z06, so supercharging wont be an issue. Just get a Z06 and not void the warranty. You aren't going to be able to beat the price doing it yourself, you could make more power though. The one problem with that is the current Z06 over powers the chassis stock, this engine doesn't.
The hood on the 2013 Grand Sport Corvette looks better tho.
Its essentially the perfectly balanced car. Great job by Tadge on the design and fixing all the flaws of the C6. The manual option is great and it will catch you on in an incline of +5 degrees or more. It also has an electric parking brake which releases on power so there is no drift back concern in this car. Hope they keep this option for C8 but its rumored to be DCT only.

Cheers! Love my C6 2012 Grand Sport, 2LT, 6 Speed Automatic. Do not like the 3" ground clearance on front bumper spoiler. Scrapes my driveway backing out. Can't go over speed bumps without dragging bottom. GM can/should do better with low front end. Hint, hint, hint...
MSRP on that car is more 85k. Wish GM did some review cars without the z07 package.

If the Grand sport did 0-60 at 3.5s/ why buy the z06? the z06 did 0-60 at 3.3s it was too TINY different but price different a lot
Ntse_ Laiv actually it is 3.6s compared to 2.9s which is a huge difference... but I am planning to get one soon and it will definitely be the GS as I want to daily this car.

Well the LS7 made 505hp, the LT7 will have the same displacement with VVT which is good for 40-50hp. We should have the official word soon well within 6 months. MotorTrend is where heard about it.

LOL. Definitely something to be avoided in sports cars. What you want is a full E-class interior space and a radio easily accessible by the passenger.
My C6Z (modded) has smoked plenty of C7 track and street. It has more room im over 6ft tall, wife isnt bored and will actually take drives with me. We rented a C7 and she hated it and i was cramped. Close friend runs a dealership said they get a lot of trade ins because those reason plus others. When i had enough of my LAST corvette. AMG GTR is in my crosshairs

Exactly sports cars are not just about power. If you just want power get a crazy battery Electric rocket. This is a car with more suspension and handling than power, that is what driving pleasurable for long stints.
It's cheaper, it's naturally aspirated, it doesn't over power the chassis. Though I suspect once the new Z/28 is release it will get that motor which should be around 550 NA hp.
