This is amazing because the members of New Edition are almost 50! And they still got it!
This group is so underrated an under-appreciated almost makes me want to cry. There would be no New Kids on the Block, no Justin Timberlake, N Sync, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees - none of them without this group. Yet they've gone on to make big money ripping off black culture and this group specifically. People can get uncomfortable and mad about me saying that but it's the truth.

4mydearlady...I hear you but I don't think they are underrated or underappreciated. NE is one of a few groups with the rare gift to fill any venue when they want to come out and make some cash. They don't need the record deal or label-signing for any of that. I just hate when the egos start clashing causing them to abruptly end a tour. But now, you can clearly see they are aging gracefully and with perfection. The mature mentality is setting in at this very moment. They are calming the "f" down and being about the performance and professionalism. Hell, even when they let Bobby in every now and then he is starting to get the point. But, underrated and underappreciated? Not hardly. Just say, "New Edition" and the masses will gather. NE For Life!!!

What I really love about this particular performance, besides the fact that they still have their dance moves down pact, is the joy you can see on their faces while performing. They are a great example of people who are passionate about what they do vs those who do what they do for benefits. They are the epitome of talent and passion, long live New Edition!

Looking at how crisp this is, now I understand why Bobby has said in interviews that he sneed to drop 40lbs if he wanted keep up with the choreography for touring, and I also understand why he has been no stranger to an oxygen machine when he does perform with his brothers: these boys practically float across the stage like ghosts the way they make the dancing look so effortless. #flawlesstechnique

This was feel good music, back then. The music that these guys sung was soulful. It made you feel all emotional in a good way. Love New Edition, and their music to this day. Always listening and playing all their music!

You have to remember that Bobby was hitting the pipe with Whitney when they had their show. That aided to his downward spiral.

Damn..#AClassAct...Brook Payne needs to be in the Choreographer Hall of Fame. This routine is from the video so I know this is his work. Not taking anything from the Temps, OJ's, Stylistics, and all the other smooth and classy movers of yesteryear, but, along with this NE performance and their other countless performance routines, these guys just make you proud, excited and giddy at the same time. They enjoyed doing this and you can see it in their faces and gliding movements. What an awesome performance. NE For Life!!!
