The audience loved it! New Edition. Not New Edition with Bobby Brown, simply New Edition. Bobby Brown was the truth as a solo artist. His talent of singing and dancing with an independent, defiant attitude made him iconic. Ricky, Ronnie and Mike held the ship when everybody went solo by creating BBD and keeping the New Edition bloodline alive, while the combination of Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant brought the group back into significance. Gill went Solo but stayed with the group. New Edition was created to be the "New" version of the Jackson 5. And though they have seen their share of adversity, they have survived! God bless them!
You heard Bobby say "New Edition for Life!" He knows that even though he was a solo artist, he is a member of New Edition for Life!!! I love these dudes!
I'm a grown ass man and I get star struck and get goosebumps whenever I see these guys perform. They're the reason why & how I discovered my singing abilities and the reason I formed my own singing groups when I was in highschool. These guys have been such an inspiration to me, even to this day.

DeVoe is the one that kept the dance moves on point i liked how him and Ralph came out and filled in as his dancers and DeVoe pulled Bobby's coat tail to keep him on point love these guys

I dont think Bobby rehearsed and may have forgotten some steps. From the time he got on stage if you see he keeps looking back at the others to see if he is still step with them. Ronnie pulled him back cause he knew he didnt remember. Thats brotherly love right there
I don't think these " Youngsters" Truly get and comprehend the Depth and the Height of this group. Legendary! Nothing like this today for RNB. Each one of them stood out on their own but collectively, will give the Devil, himself, a Beat down!. When I'm down. I watch this It's one thing to watch a movie but it's a totally different experience when your're actually at their concerts, behind the scenes.. Especially Bobby Brown. I wished they wouldve let Johnny Gill sing " Boys to Men". It wouldve shut the Whole house down. When they added him - He was the Pivatol point. Not " Bubble Gum songs anymore-Men. It's kind of Ironic because Bobby Brown was telling them this too. I know people blame Bobby drug use but he was Still Smart. You can only be Teenagers for so long. He got kicked out of the group her started and went Multi- Platinum.
