Yep. I just subbed and hit like on the Vid.
Man, imagine if this was actually part of the World Cup circuit. We need a track like this!
hopefully one day!
Next year hopefully they can bring back the world part of World Cup do some different tracks all new to mix things up
@@user-nf3oq2ge3gYou mean like Canada… for the last 27 years sub COVID.
@@user-nf3oq2ge3gwon’t be next year they plan 6 years ahead so we’ll be super lucky to get it in 3/4
Meanwhile we get the Loudenvielle flow trail 🥴
Rémy has rolled out the DH bike, this must be serious business!
Was thinking the same thing
Remy has to be one of the most talented CZcams riders I have ever seen, he is such an incredible person, keep up the amazing work 🔥
Wow, thank you!
insane track, insane riding!
OMG this is what a World Cup racer dreams about having course like this and you can imagine how mental the crowd would be going As Stevie Came down on a stormer
Would be so rad to see a WC race at Creekside. Has the infrastructure to totally support without shutting down the park!
The brakes pads at 16:07 absolutely cookin
I wanna see Jackson Goldstone on that track!!!!
This begs the question "Will Remy race at Crankworx?" 😊
So sick!!! That track is scary. Thanks for the tour Remy and crew.
The dude Remy is following has some serious skills. Gets me excited to finally make it back to Whistler again! I love a good raw, technical piece of single track.
That left hander after the slab drop to the short uphill pedal looks like it could determine alot of the race
I'm just here for that "YEEHAW" from Rémy 🤠
damn.....no one can shake Remi off their tales. dude is so damn fast.
this track looks amazing, i really hope they open it to the public.
I'm sure parts of it will be open. Not all the track though.
This track looks so gnarly. Can't wait to watch them race it this weekend. Amazing riding as always Remi!
This was such an awesome video. I love how you explain you're thought process on these extreme features and have it make sense to the average mountain biker. In addition to that, absolutely amazing riding on this world cup track.
Thanks Remi! What a track! We need more real DH courses in North America for all our up and coming young racers.
As if I didn't want to go ride Whistler enough already. Ughhhhh. Looks so good!
Awesome looking trail. Love your videos man! Especially the ones when you talk through the features with your buds.
THIS could be one of the best DH tracks ever! It got everything! Looking forward for the race there! And as always, awesome video quality and content :)
Unreal. What an amazing build. Top notch trail building
Sweet course preview! You made those jumps look smooth as butter, mate. Cheers!
Wow! To be able to do half of that would be awesome!
Always a thumbs up Remy!👍
Thanks again!
Such a beautiful track 😮😮😮 I love it, gotta get tuned for the race!
hey first comment up. we are on our way tomorrow to the Vosges region. Lac Blanc and La Bresse. Good work Rémy.
Nice one. One day I'll get there!
Art. This is art.
This better be on the circuit next year! Sick video as always.
Wow.... Awesome, watched Lewis Buchanan do a track walk earlier and now you ride the track. Thanks.
iam so stoked to watch this world cup!! holy moly
thats easily WC quality. Looks fantastic, huge props to the crew!
This track is so dope.
Wish I can ride like you Remy.
Toujours incroyable tes vidéo continue sur cette bonne lancée 👍💪
Thanks Remy! Love that you show the diff lines (most times yours seemed faster😎). You are so talented and you add so much analysis to learn from in your commentary. Btw, I developed riders palsy on my right hand and then put in Flexx bars. Problem solved! Probably too flexible for someone as skilled as you, but thought I would comment just in case it could help you or any of your followers (I have no ties at all to Flexx)🙂
Can't wait to spectate this some day
Love the triples looks so fun! Moto style
Amazing track, amazing ride🎉 👍👍
So sick man, love the videos!
very impressive track and riding
That's what a downhill track ought to be. Long, technical, and difficult. Awesome!
So impressive!
I hit the like button every time I see that intro. It's automatic.
Sections 4 & 5 👌
Remy just has way too good of an eye for line choice.
What a line👊💯
So sick.
It's interesting to see how having a wider track really helps your confidence. I usually ride single track in Idaho and it's scary not because of how it rides, but about the fact that any missed pedal and you go right/left and bye-bye... see you never!
Hello Remy! ❤
Epic man 🤟🏼
This would be by far the best World Cup track if incorporated into the schedule
I love that theres a massive typo in the beginning as it makes me feel like you are just such a real down-to-earth duder. Do you have your citizenship? You are definitely an honorary Canadian in my books. I love the way you showcase other riders during your descents by often taking inside or sometimes maybe less "exciting" lines to really get the detail and action of the rider ahead. Also question, are you referring to the draft of the rider ahead of you on the drop @2:38?
Edit: You explained it in the video like 5 seconds later. I just needed to keep watching I guess
I love and miss you berg ❤
That track is where dreams our built
Epic!
you should try racing again
Bring back Killian Bron! 🙏🏼🤞🏼
I’m here for WOLRD cup
That intro has got to be one of the scariest things I have seen
proper WC track - Loudenville blows next to this. Thanks for the tour!
Now lets talk about doing the quad
That could be a World Cup track from the looks of it.
DAMN
ouai c puissant ! la technique prime sur le speed, en fait je l'aurai tenté si possible
Amazing. But the first big drop seems bigger to me than the second
Semble incroyable! Bonne chance pour la course! Q: Tu ne fais jamais la course MégaAvalanche avec Killian ?
Sick riding as usual 👍
I was wondering though, does CZcams let you change the thumbnail when you realise there's a typo in the first one you uploaded? 😜
Yes it does!
W O L R D
please share your camera settings!!!❤🤟
That triple is a step-up triple. Lots of speed required.
Thanks Remy! What a great track. Thank goodness new tracks that are genuinely difficult are being built somewhere. The European WC tracks are generally having as much as possible straightened out and polished leading to increased speed and more danger as a result. There are exceptions - Fort William which could not be dumbed down - and all the WC tracks in Europe have great sections. But overall, this is the type of new track we need at WC. Brendan Fairclough, @BrendanFairclough , who’s still racing WC and raced RBH and has raced RBR feels that tracks should be harder, not faster. In fact, he says WC courses should have features that only the top 10 (or so) feel they can race with slower chicken lines for the rest.
Thoughts Remy?
Everyone is so good these days, all top males would hit the gnarly features basically. The difference is made a lot on the slower, tech. Going fast on jumps is the "easy part"
Is it possible to see this race in a Livestream?
Remy, how far off are you from your factory recommend suspension settings? Also, with all the different riders you ride with, the same question, how far from the factory suspension settings are they?
It seems like it's a personal choice to some extent, but I've been trying to dial in my Fox Factory 36, and I'm all over the place making adjustments. Some rides it feels good (as in not dangerous) then some days the same setting feels terrible.
I'm trying to figure if I just need to stay around the factory recommend settings according to my weight or try and find the sweet spot even if it's off from the recommended settings.
I've been considering buying a ShockWiz 😢
It went together easily in less than an hour. czcams.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.
Do you think the YT CAPRA Core 1 is a good beginner bike? I’m 5’10 190
I hope they invite you to redbull hardline
you should try racing again😉
hey remy what rear hub u running
Is that a Works Manufacturing angle adjust headset?
Yes that is! Love it.
do you think it will ever open to the public?
Just watched Loic Bruni testing at Loudenville (next world cup round), looks like a joke of a trail. 1199 is what all world cup tracks should be!
Could not agree more! Loic’s enthusiastic, of course, but it’s barely Regional standard (for eg in U.K.). Having said that, it will be super fast, especially the top, so, ironically, Loudenville will have many more injuries than 1199. Really great tracks test the very best and cause less injuries and are the best spectacle 🎉
@Coolcmsc too true, no tech or line choice at Loudenville. You need creativity and that's when it get gnarly in steep slower tech
I thought the same thing when I saw this video. That track looks like it'll be terrible to watch unless it rains, this would be WAY better
Loudenvielle looks like a green flow trail compared to 1199. Whistler did a phenomenal job here.
It's missing the automated cowbells
I would like to see a race on this, not that blue flowtrail in loudenvielle 🤦♀
didnt they race that lower part with the first wodden drop in ews last year?
Upper yes
Sick video! Just for me to know, are we gonna see UCI downhill world cup in Whistler? cause this year is not in the schedule. Thank ya!
if it does it will be in a few years. At least 3
Will IT be part of the World Cup rounds in 2024?
Al·lucinant
Why doesn’t the World Cup series go to Whistler?
pero sube en bicicleta pa creerte
Fix that thumbnail woldr! Otherwise sick!
🤌👌😁
I have never felt so poor, pennyless and as far away from happiness as I was watching this. Why didn't I move there when I was in my 20's like real men would.
The thumbnail says “wolrd” instead of world 😅
Having just watched Loic Bruni's Loudenville WC course preview (new WC track), I am unanimous in saying this Whistler WC-level course blows away anything at that Loudenville course ......
I dare you to compare. czcams.com/video/eWazdp6wMoU/video.html
Someone needs spell check for their thumb nails.
oooops
@@remymetailler slow them fingers down on that keyboard. #notONyourBIKE 😁
how about we don't close features to the public...
that drop is basic
Trail is fine, but sort of leaves a lot to be desired compared to other trails / features throughout the valley and region.
Superbe track elle fait tellement envie :O Merci pour la review ! Et cet accent, toujours aussi frenchy 👌😂
u racing buck?
