Due fantastici ballerini, magnifici in questa interpretazione de La Bella Addormentata, hanno saputo conferire ai personaggi quella meravigliosa aria principesca, propria delle favole… Tatiana dotata di una raffinatissima ed assai rara tecnica e di una eleganza formale ammirevole, capace di incarnare perfettamente lo spirito romantico della bella Principessa Aurora della favola di Perreault. Vladimir regale come sempre con un straordinario physique du role che ne fa la perfetta immagine del ballerino classico … dotato di una tecnica prodigiosa e meravigliosa e di una rarissima sensibilità, interpreta il Principe Desire’ esattamente come ama pensarlo la nostra immaginazione. Una meraviglia per gli occhi ❤💙
Ottimo balletto che contempla la fibrillazione dei passi sulle punte in eundo veloce della ballerina ed indietreggianti di difficoltà massima ed eseguiti con una disarmante non chalanche esecutiva d'acchito sorprendente. Ottima la postura di quello che con un mio neologismo mi piace chiamare convolo aereo ed elanista della ballerina ottimamente indotto e tenuto dal partner. Grande impressione di facilità esecutiva d'acchito da parte di entrambi e di levità fluente fatta tensione elanista e motile sorprendente in questa ballerina che riconduce i passi a musica come se avesse immiata l'euritmia melodica. OMG ms Melnik is a joy to watch and I hope that by now she has moved on from here for bigger and better things cuz she has it ALL the legs the feet the port de bras, the face the grace the lightness in her step, the charisma SERIOUSLY SHE IS EVERYTHING i cannot wait to see what she is doing now!!

I actually first saw her in a short doc "Day in the Life of a Ballerina (tatiana Melnik) eng subs..." type thing, and what drew me to look at her and her other work personally WAS her balance it can be seen here in the day in the life of a ballerina vid starting at about 1:23 and again at 2:45. When i think of balance like that i think of margot fonteyn... except with a gorgeous port de bras AND the facility of sylvie guillem or Zakharova (esp in the legs and feet) She could easily be the perfect dancer...Hopefully she has the endurance and constitution for the long haul cuz she sure has a boatload of potential!!
Tatiana is a beautiful princess, but she needs to be careful with her feet, especially when running (5:44) and doing piruettes (her heel is the first thing to turn). a bit clumsy. yet, she moves her torso like a real Russian ballerina.

Yes I also noticed that she’s occasionally off of musicality too.
But still I was impressed with her sleeping beauty, way better than Aurelie Dupont
