- Today we installed the open carbon APR intake on the MK7! It sounds amazing and the installation was quite simple. if you have the GTI make sure to purchase the APR breather filter along with the intake and the inlet tube if you wish to add that as well. click on the links down below for all the items installed in this video! do you have blow off forge ?
I have that APR PEX intake and it sounds like a blow off ! But Im not sure if it is nórmal or I have an air leak…. I think not because I didnt lose power.
do you have the face lift mk7.5?
I do not have an aftermarket blow off valve. It’s definitely normal because my carbon one is essentially the same thing as the pex and it sounds the same it’s insane! I love how loud it is but it is completely normal haha
It was already tuned wasnt it? Basing it offf there being no soft limiter when you rev in N.
The car was actually not tuned when the intake was installed. I ended up getting it later on with a DSG Tune. From what I remember it should’ve still been 4k limiter but I’d have to go back in the video and check
