The bots stayed for at least half a year after graduation and no amount of moderation really stopped it. They spammed how the talent rides horse cock and nonsense random english words strung together. The chat was pretty much useless for community interaction and any entity trying to tie into that talent risks having that spread to them too. Your words of love will hardly reach the talents and even if they did it would be after 10 messages of horse cock riding and other nonsense. Even if you find the antis (good luck) they won't be speaking your language and will continue regardless of how much you harass or laugh at them on Weibo (if you can get there).
That being said, I know that there are also chinese fans who still wished well and wanted to participate. It was just ridiculous how loud the toxic part was. I hope we can amend and be a bigger and more fun community... The chinese fans are masters of meme and high effort animation.

Wow, I didn't know CN game ban on hololivers was over. At least they can stream some CN games now, which I think is a good thing (they should be allowed to stream any game from any country imo). I hope she didn't have to remit private info to the CN streamer database in order to stream on bilibili though. She's the most popular in ID, so she'll probably have the most stalkers that'll go after her.
Slow down, there was never a cut-and-dried ban. Some Chinese companies blacklisted Holo, and Holo stopped going to Chinese companies for perms. Everyone else just stayed away and didn't touch the issue because of pressure from those who did touch it, and it came from both sides. Also, HoloID's testing the waters with bilibili because 1) ID and China have a good relationship irl and 2) Chinese antis don't have beef with HoloID afaik. Thus ID has the least risk expanding into China. Yes, the bilibili database is concerning, but I feel like COVER knows how to leverage themselves and afford thair talents certain protections against threats like stalking.
- Kobo entered stream in bilibili after coco-haato Taiwan incident.
- Speculation that she was a trial run if holo can enter the Chinese market again.
- Indonesia and China had a big friendship after new Indo president supports China.

ID and the other branches are indeed separate branches. If COVER lumped them all together when they look back on that incident, they wouldn't have greenlit this. Also, I wouldn't call it a "CN Games ban". The CN companies retracted any perms Holo had at the time, and Holo chose not to restore old perms or pursue new ones in the CN market. There's nothing government level stopping Holo from contacting a CN game dev.
And let's be real. The stream has happened. It's real. If anyone's old wounds come into play, it's not gonna be HoloPro's or Hoyoverse's (did they even publicly deny Holo perms to their games back then?).
