FIRST DRIVE & REVIEW : "KOBELCO EURO" EXCAVATOR (Track Hoe) LESU PC360 Build PT 6 | RC ADVENTURES

- THE BUILD iS COMPLETE! Now I must give my final thoughts on the build series, the LESU P360 model excavator itself, what I Loved about the model and what I would like to see improved. Much like any build / assembly, there are many pitfalls and valley's but also many peaks and apex's along the way. This build is full of both.
Firstly, let me say for more information about LESU products visit their Facebook page here: / lesurcchina
Here is the distributor I use in the USA: / semijoesrctruckshop
Let's start with what I loved about this kit.
1) The instructions are 95% correct
2) The Hydraulic Rams are some of the best I have ever seen. They seem well built with very little areas to leak.
3) The slew gearbox is ON POINT! Excellent control of the rotating turret and cabin.
4) The inline motors in the track assembly are fantastic. Lots of torque, and plenty of speed. This is important when the machine weighs as much as this excavator does. Approximately 35lbs.
5) The tracks seem durable and strong, as well as the entire lower half.
6) The Cab fitment, as well as the Arms, Superstructure and bucket are amazing. The Bucket Teeth are beautiful, replaceable, and so are the side cutters. Just Wow!
7) The brass really POPS on this model.. its an eye catcher!
8) It is SO SMOOTH to Drive!!
Things that could use improvement -
1) The Cab Mirrors were welded incorrectly. I removed them before this film, but there was no amount of twisting or turning, or flipping that would make them work. They were just done wrong.
2) A very concerning part of the instructions was the failure to point out a pressure relief pin, that appears in the instruction box to be installed by the factory. Ours was not.. and caused us significant problems.
3) There was no instructions sheet on how to setup the hydraulics. IE: the Brushless ESC settings, the brushed settings, or the servo settings. All of these things needed to be figured out by the user. This could be very tricky for the inexperienced builder:
a) consideration has to be given to Multiple ESC's (ie: over-power to the RX),
b) End point adjustments for the servo's,
c) Speed settings for the Pump Motor (ie: punch start, brake, etc..),
d) Radio Mixing to control the Pump
e) How to set the Pressure Relief Pin, and acceptable limits for Hydraulic pressure
4) A way to see how much Hydraulic Fluid is in the tank
5) An overflow valve that doesn't leak into the electronics bay
6) A larger return tube for the Hydraulic fluid system
My circumstance was difficult, as I believe there was a flow issue within my Valve Block, or an issue within the Pump. The issue may have been caused by us not knowing about the pressure relieve pin that was discovered after 8 hours of troubleshooting. Heat and Pressure were my enemy in my final build video, but wanted to explain it here, and how eventually I decided to pull the entire system and run a separate one. Now, everything flows so smooth, it's like butter!
I think this machine is a solid 8/10. I only give it this high rating because of the quality of the build. I think if the pump issue is not a systemic issue across the board - then this model will do very well.
Now that I have all of the bugs worked out.. although I am disappointed I had to replace the pump system, it was an upgrade overall.. and Im pretty pleased.
For those that are wondering, this is a kit that I unboxed on my channel a few weeks ago... Here is the link to the original video: • I'M BUILDING an EXCAVA...

I'm Glad it's all tweaked, I cant wait too see this in loading wars as well as CZcams GOLD BABY
These kind of technical videos are not as interesting to some but they are vital to teach people that this more than a plug and play hobby. I can not wait to see this machine digging for gold next season.
Thank You for 1500 episodes of 100% entertainment, You, Gemma and all your “Crew” r in Aussie talk “ Mates” are awesome 👏 so 3 cheers 🥂 to you All, keep up the great work!!!
congratulation for 11 years and 1500 episodes - thx for being a part of it - can't wait to see the next 1500 episodes :D
Great job. As a person who has worked with tons of hydraulics I would say your problem is in the valve bank. They may have installed the spools backwards. Test each piece in The system separately and you will find the problem. Pump first then valve then cooler. I bet you find the valve bank is built backwards or a port is being blocked off by a misplaced o ring.
Scott is prob talking about full size hydraulics
Like me working with loads of hydraulics
Its good advice and all true
So is what your saying as well
I'm unsure of how modls works but real hydraulics the pump runs non stop and it's up to the valve block to regulate presure and flow
I'd st this is an open circuit hydrolics
Somthr oil should flow right though the valve and straight back to the tank
Then when you activate a spool it closes the tank line and sends the oil to the ram you want
In a very basic form that's how it works anyway
The otherway is closed centre
with large electric hydraulics it is a presure switch that turns off The pump once pressure is reached and turns it back on when it's needed
congratulations! 11 years of RCSparks. I just turned in about 11 months ago and I love the channel. I picked up the RC hobby after 25 years and having fun with RC almost every day, thanks to you guys. Ik hope you can hold on another 1500 episodes.

Congratulations on this double celebration episode Aaron. Glad that you managed to troubleshhot your way around the problem.
Hey Mr. RCSparks. I have been watching since 2009. A lot of things have happened since then, but wow the videos are still great, new content, with the CZcams Gold. And most importantly a new addition to your family, that is Maurice. Congrats on all the success that you have made through the years.
Thanks James.. I appreciate that you have been sharing us in your life since then.. !
I can predict the future. And I know for a fact that for episode 7500, Maurice will have you as a cameo, and you 2 will review a thorium powered RC mobility scooter ! ^^

Congratulations on 1500. Lesu instructions should be bulletproof, the amount of money that you pay it should be better. I’m sure Lesu will be in contact with you SOON. LOVE you channels Medic, I’m always in anticipation for the next episode.
I dont know if Lesu will even care.. but as long as I told you guys about it, at least you all will know to look out and be vigilant about the pressure relief valve right from the start, and avoid all the issues we had
RCSparks Studio with 2.8 million subscribers I think they will care!
That is a cool excavator Aaron and I love your shelf
Congratulations Aaron and Jem on eleven years and fifteen hundred episodes. You are a great success story.

I love troubleshooting videos! They always help those of us who know less!
Congrats on 1500 episodes. I really enjoy the great diversity of rc content you have. Never a dull moment especially when you include great "character dialogue". It adds to the realism of scale rc, sometimes I forget I'm watching grown men playing with toys 😁
Congrats on all the awesome Rc content over the years. I've been watching since you lived in town and had the awesome skull in the intro👊. I was in a bad archery hunting accident in 2010 that left me a quadriplegic🙁 I used to race stadium truck back in the 2000's, then life got busy and had to cut back on some of my hobbies. After I got hurt I was no longer able to do anything from pre injury. Being I had lost function in my hands, while I was stuck in bed for 6 months after getting home I was trying to figure out what I was going to be able to do. I came across your channel and the lights came on. I knew there was a way I could still drive, after I was off being bed bound I got a new slash 4x4 after watching skate park pain😀👍👍. After some practice I was able to drive again. Thanks to your channel I got back into Rc and out of depression. I thank you and your family again for all the great years. Hope the crohns is keeping under control and the back stays in place.
Congratulations on 11 years. You guys are awesome!!!!!! I've learned so much, laughed a lot and have enjoyed every episode.
As a mechanic, I was wondering about that hose Diameter of the return line. Glad ya had the other set up to put in there to get it running.
Love how everything turned out and how smooth it runs. Now ya have room for a sound kit lol.

To the Sparks family and Studio you guys have been a great inspiration to get me back into the hobby that I love so much as a child growing up in Birmingham Alabama in the 80s I love all the content and I have bought silver RC cars to mimic the bills that you have done and I've also created my own versions of RC cars by using parts cars so I would like to say thank you very very very very much love to you and your family love to the RCSparks Studio the gold CZcams Gold Studio thank you guys again have a great one
Its a team effort John, in turn - we could not do this show without you. Without a viewing audience, there would be no reason to make the show. Thank you for giving us the trust to bring you interesting and thought provoking RC content all these years
Congratulations Medic on delivering the best RC channel on you tube
And we still enjoy every minute of each video! Good work brother, what an amazing empire you’ve built.

turned out beautiful love the colour
Respect as to your dedication and imagination and enthusiasm in presenting and your shows. I admire your attention to family and support by a "patient" wife. To ten years more!.
Man oh man. Thanks for the years of fun. 😊👍
Congrats on reaching 11 years and 1500 episodes, they have all been fantastic and I have enjoyed watching and re watching so very many of them. I always seem to pickup something new from every episode that I can use in my adventures within this amazing hobby of RC. That is a beautiful machine, great idea to remove the complete hydraulic system and replace it, it saved you a lot of time and head aches in the future. maybe you could change the lines on the original to match the replacement system or make all the lines the same size and see if that fixes the issue.
Cheers to 1500 past and to many many more RC Adventures to come.
Good review, telling how it is. I really hope LESU gets in touch with you and works WITH you to resolve and update whatever needs updating.
They did .. they sent me an email last night: "Thank you very much for your team, we will redesign our hydraulic system, through the review, we found our work has a lot of insufficient place".. they also sent a note to the distributors in the USA.
Congrats on 1500 episodes love each and everyone I've seen
Congratulations Medic on 11 years of RC bliss...what an awesome journey. Keep rocking mate and my best wishes to you for many more years to come 👍👍
Oh snaps this looks pretty cool!
Yeah awesome medic, I enjoyed watching this episode, Love learning new things. Yeah loading wars. I'm ready to watch.
Very nice Excavator, thumb up
doesn't feel like i've been subscribed (through multiple different channels) since 2009, that's mad, props to you medic, keep it up!
Either I’m getting old or the time is just flying haha congrats on 11 amazing and fun years that you have given us viewers.
It’s really nice to see the track moving at a faster speed compared to the 4200xl. It will be interesting to see if the tracks stay on when maneuvering in the dirt at that speed. Looks like a super solid machine and really quiet. And great troubleshooting as with this video you nailed the reason why I love RC because of complicated builds like this! So cool!
Now that's an awesome build.
Even a better dionostic video.
Keep on keeping on
Btw congrats on the mile stone of vids.
Keep on keeping on
It looks awesome!

That's one awsome build
Funny thing is i saw a real one just like this in Norway today!
Even with the issues you’ve had with building it, it looks amazing and I can’t wait to see it tearing up the ground.

Happy birthday for all these good years 😊 It's really very good work and I see that finally you have to change the system at the pump, so the manometer is no longer used? I can not wait to see her at work, it's really a beautiful machine !!
