Low season - now through October - is definitely the best time to go.
Been to Phuket many times.
Kamala quickly became my fav spot in Phuket after staying previous trips in Patong, Kata, Karon and Rawai.
I've stayed at the Novotel on Kamala beach in both their jacuzzi and pool villas. Unreal spot.
However Phuket is sooo inflated in price now among other issues.
I love the nightlife scenes.. but man I got over Patong quickly.

Getting a motorbike in Phuket is for real a cheat code. So many places to go. Zip line, big Buddha on top of the hill with thr elephants on the side of the road, and just put your girl on back, and ride… end up on some hillside bar or restaurant looking over the water. I have so many pics from February when I was there last. “It’s more expensive… 😭 “ just shut up already and enjoy the island
Bang Tao is nice lots of condos to rent and some big Muay Thai camps. A new bar area right on the beach too
bro.... I lived in thailand for 6 months when i was 22. I remember riding those motor bikes. I wiped out on one before with loads of road rash. Shit is nuts. a lot of people drive like maniacs on them. i drive slow as hell on them.

Adam. Great vid bro, but you missed the most stunning beach in Phuket by far, “Paradise Beach”. Been going there for decades. Very secluded. The first time I went (20+ years ago) it required a very scary 4WD mission through a narrow jungle path, now more commercialised and accessible, but no less amazing! ❤️

Go to Naithon beach. Slow quiet laid back. Nothing like patong. I use it as a stop before i fly out.
Really good video mate tip for renting bikes or jetski always take photos or video of the bike or jetski before you leave and let them see you do it all so take photos or video when you bring it back will save you a lot of problems

You could get to Cape Singh Beach via a private path in 2022 if you were adventurous. You had to climb over the rocks and be mindful of the tides though.
Wished Phuket was the Size of Bali and a Tropical Artist Thai Functional Airport! Would be Great!
Left Phuket recently and stopped in Phangna for a night on the way back to Krabi. Stunning scenery had a great night on the beers with the locals didn’t see one other falang. Surprised more tourist don’t go their beautiful spot.

I did a quad tour in Phuket which ended at the Giant Buddha. I thought the Great Buddha of Kamakura in Japan was big and here comes the Buddha of Phuket saying hold my beer 😂

@@keisone Years ago, there used to be a walking track down to Cape (Laem) Singh beach and it was a fantastic beach, but that large Villa owned by an influential, to the right of the lookout, essentially blocked walking access to Laem Singh beach. So much for the beaches owned by someone really important and accessible to all....

Renting a bike is a great way to get around and see a lot.. but you don’t NEED a bike to enjoy yourself there 😊

I've never understood why Patong is so popular. I prefer Nai Yang. Close to the airport, quiet and you're still able to enjoy night life.

I went to a private beach at Phuket a few years back but the name escapes me, not featured here. Was right by a very high-end exclusive hotel/resort. Definitely the way to go. Patong is way overrated.

I hated Phuket, taxi mafia ruined that trip. Spending 200-300 baht on a one way trip to the nearest next beach was not my idea of an affordable vacation. Almost didn't come back to Thailand because of Phuket. Glad I did because I quickly found out Phuket is not Thailand, Phuket is Phuket.
That is normal all over Thailand! I have always said as an exageration that it cost 300 baht to cross the road with a taxi in Thailand.
However most places have Bolt Taxi app now, and most other places have Grab taxi app. Those are much more cheap to get around.
Yes I too found taxis very costly in Kata. I've a friend who lives there and one evening we decided to get a cab for the last kilometer of the journey due to her hip pain......it was B300 or B400! She explained it's an island and you have to put up with it🙄

Stayed in Kamala many times it's amazing. Great restaurants and bars on the beach . Check out Anda restaurant on the beach opposite the police station...lovely ladies and great food 😍
