A lot of people are missing the point of this advert. The original Fireblade was not developed to be a track machine. It was supposed to be the most comfortable superbike for the streets. The ad is conveying just that. Its track and TT success only came in much later which further helped it develop into an on street/on track SBK.
Ok but this bike is the farthest thing from a road bike you can get, so why stress the fact that the time has changed and in a quite uncool fashion way?
I can understand what you are saying but in my opinion this ad is not well made...

SeraphinoII you're saying a cbr1000rr isn't a commuter bike? Really? Do you not realize how many vloggers are on YT who commute to work on a Fireblade while they shoot a vlog?
Go broke you spine then using it all days to make 100km a day if it is good for communing ... Motovlogger frequently are posers, they make money from it so it is fine. But you don't get money from riding an extremely powerful uncomfortable and unpractical bike on the street. Great track bike? Yes. Good commuter? No.
Do you use an hammer to repair your car? I surely don't.

And it is a great one! Finally, a superbike for the streets! Maybe even for sport touring if position with aftermarket adjustable pegs will be something similar to my '11 cbr 600f :)
I got on my very first bike in the late 80's & I've owned two FireBlades for about 10 years on the road in rain/hail/snow/wind & this is the first video I've seen of some 'banker type' going on a track alone by himself. I mean, you have to be that type now or just have the money to own one as even people with no road time can get one if they have the money & go on a track day alone and think that's a WIN? There is no TRUE FireBlade heart/spirit in this video.

MM 954rr yes, difference is in larger intakes and more power for the SP2 version...

SP2 is given only to the racers...SP is what anybody can lay hands on...
i don't think you understood what i'm asking; the differences between the SP and SP2 i know them already,the CBR in this video is the standard version,so i was asking witch are the differences between the STANDARD version and the SP version
The frame and swing arm colour is black, on the sp models its silver, some of the paint work is black on the fairings and on the SP its blue and the wheels are heavier and in black not gold.

Honda needs to hire a new ad agency. This video was beyond dumb. From the "story" to the music, it just came off as lame.
