Having an expert there is really nice. When they take on very serious concerns they should have someone who knows what they're talking about. I think it'd be nice if they hired a professional to be on every week and then have guests so they don't loose the funny aspect of the show. I just think they could do more harm than good taking on serious concerns with no real knowledge of how to deal with them.

PLEASE keep bringing professionals. So many things get laughed off as to not make it a too serious show but a lot of these things are serious problems that need medical and psychological help. Everyone was laughing and chuckling about the guy who was able to drink 20 bottles of beer and was sleeping under trucks until the professional pointed out that this is alcoholism and you could DIE from it

That's the main point of the second problem, alcoholism. He need to stop as he is already addicted and not only effect him but other people close to him.
You are so correct. I love when the two psychiatrist come!! So good for the contestants. There was a stalker employee one time needed to be admitted to a ward because she seriously dangerous and so many like that.
Having psychologist made this episode feeling more secure than previous one. They can explain the situation profesionally and at the same time more convincing. Hope they do this for another episode ^_^
Wow it's so nice to have an expert as one of the guests. He actually says it like it is and doesn't beat around the bush. I wish they had an expert there every week. Because sometimes the problems are serious but they just laugh about it.
1st problem: Obsessiveness/Controlling
2nd problem: Alcoholism.
The first concern's Mother... woah, I'm speechless.
She should not take her husband and son who sacrifice their freedom, body, pride, and social life for granted. I clapped every time the Father dropped out his sick burn.
The son can't live like that. He needs to be independent, have friends, date his dream girl, and not wasting his youth being imprisoned under his mom's desire. She said the son can have friends when he's already a great dancer. But you know what? It's hard to find a real, genuine friends when you're at the top. Same condition with love interest.

Exactly. She is wasting his youth. It makes me so sad to hear about it. I hope he stands up for himself and gets a new dance partner and a social life. He's really handsome too whereas his mother looks like an evil witch.
I'm so happy for Hello Counselor have a psychologist as a guest. I felt that the concerns were taken more seriously with his presence and comments. I hope that more professionals in this area are invited.
I'm so glad they bought professionals who actually know about these problems. The first women was kind of clingy and probably had attachment issues. The second friend is obviously an alcoholic.

i have a freind who's known for her beautiful hair , it's like rapunzel hair ,lot of people notice her gorgeous hair and point at it , one day she showed me a photo of her when she was young , she had a very short hair like a boy ,so i thought she cut it like that , and i was shocked when she told me that her hair never grew up , it was naturally short , the doctor didn't find a cause for the state of her hair , so her parents gave up on finding a cure , until highschool when she was around 16-17 years old , her hair started to grow on it's own and turned into the most beautiful hair that attracts attention , so i believe the girl with the short hair will grow hair someday , her parents have to be patient and encourage her during this period , it's a dark cloud and soon will withdraw to reveal the most beautiful rainbow .

Out of all husbands appeared in this show, the husband in the first concern is really the best one. He's very kind and wise, and can handle every situation quite well. He's completely different from most husbands in the show who are completely selfish, insensitive, and mean dumbass.

The guests seem so intelligent and full of wisdom. Although I'm going to miss the idols I think this is better for the people who have concerns so they can get sincere help ^.^

This professional opinion is actually gold. they need this.
KBS should permanently hire a psychiatrist for the show. Some concerns are extremely serious and while the MC's are good a giving advice, there were some instances where an expert was needed. They've had several guests that were definitely alcoholic before this one, but they failed (or refused) to inditify it as alcoholism, which completely takes away the purpose of the show, which is to help the people sending in the concerns, but also the people the concerns are about.

im really happy there's a pro among today's guests. this show need a standby psycholog, to help them. it's soo good to finally watch a very straight to the point of view about each problem from the pro. instead of just laughing it and made it seems like just an everyday small than a dust mistakes.
I think korean tv should show awareness about consuming too much alcohol. I think there is plenty on concern regarding excess consuming of alcohol.
what i heard is that korea a really 'stressful' environment (high suicide). whether its study or job even, finding job in korea is really hard. they judge your apperance, intelligent, and if in your health history has some mental issue like psychology related problem, they would never hire you. thats why they afraid go to psychiatrist.. and to relieve all this stress by drinking, so drink is really common in korea and cheap too even cheaper than fruits or vegetable 😂. agree though they should start alcohol awareness..
The more advanced countries tend to have high suicide rate. The stress and environmental can effect them mentally and physically. *sigh*

I think they should have at least one psychologist with them for every episode. Some people need professional help rather than the jokes and the laughing. I really hope they try it.
in Germany there is also a tv program where you can call and talk about your certain concerns and issues. And if the concerns are going to be to serious there is always a professional psychologist ready for them.

it only took *273* episodes, but they *FINALLY* got a professional psychologist on the show.
they definitely need to make this guy permanent; or have a rotating group of *psychologists* / *psychiatrists* / *doctors* .
one of these professionals would appear every week w/ the MC's & offer their assessment. that would make me so *happy*.
so tired of seeing +750 concerns so far, that just get laughed at, w/o any real resolution or help.
that was the first time that I heard a guest talk about independence. The kids are majorly sheltered and don't know what it means to be independent. I'm glad that one guest brought that up to the father.. but his excuse was bunk
They should make Yang Jaejin part of the cast to be honest !
It was so nice to have an actual psychologist give professional advice and insight on the concerns. It really hits home on how severe some of these concerns are and how it shouldn't be taken too lightly like how it usually is on the show. I think they should do this for every episode.
1st concern: The mother is waay too controlling. She might want the best for her child, but she's going about it the wrong way. I agree with what the psychologist said, even if he does find a new partner the mother will continue to control their sessions and whatnot. I hope their concern winning will be an eye opener for her.
2nd concern: The guy is an alcoholic. With this concern I don't think its only one persons fault. They all share faulty thinking, not to mention their view on what loyalty means is messed up. I hope all the husbands realise how much they're messing up their marriages and learn to say no, and the friend need's to get help from professionals and sort out his addiction, even if the process takes long.
i would have actually beat the shit out of her she needs to learn her fucking place thats not a mother thats a spoiled freaking old aged brat
I am so happy for this new format of Hello Counselor, it is now more informative with an expert guest (Yang Jaejin) to provide real advice to the guest on how they can improve upon their lives helping that their situation does not continue outside from being on the show. Two concerns also means more quality time & focus, so this is good. 👍👍
Thank you for having a health professional on the show as a guest!! They provide such good advice and insight into issues that don't really get the attention they deserve. It also allows people who don't have the money to access some form of professional advice, even though its a TV show. Please, please consider having a health professional as a permanent member of the panel. It will help even out the fact that the panel is made up of comedians...

Just like the others having an expert I feel like it makes the show a bit more meaningful. It adds a nice touch to it.

I hope they make a habit of regularly inviting certified counselors/psychologists on the show, or keep Yang Jae Jin as a permanent or at least recurring guest.That plus the extra time for each concern really helps in highlighting serious issues that would otherwise get laughed off or brushed aside.
+ That being said the friend in the 2nd concern has a serious drinking problem and other underlying issues that contribute to it and he needs professional help and friends who will support him instead of enable him tbh.
I like the new format of the show especially the follow-up stories from the past guests.
Also keep having a psychologist on the show! Some stories get serious at times and they can provide relevant suggestions and comments which can be really helpful.
omg I cried so hard during that hello news. I am so happy for the little girl. She has changed so much. I really love the hello news. Also, I'm so thankful for what the mother said about Yeongja. She really is a wonderful person who is always supporting the guests but they pick on her all the time for comedy sake.

The wife from second concern is so sweet she doesn't want anything for her just for her baby 😭. I doesn't believe such angelic woman still exist.
I love having idols on the show since I love seeing my idols. But really having a professional and some older people who are not scared to say the wrong thing is much better. I really appreciate these people who don't have any fear of telling the guests what they need to hear. I didn't like how they cut off the professional when he was talking though. You are trying to keep it light, which is nice, but them getting help is the most important.
1st: Concern, I really hope he finds a dance partner and a girlfriend. He has good skills and a great personality.
2nd: My anger kept increasing the more I heard, but not a concern. If it was me I would have ghosted him. "Use my business card for 10k!?! I'm calling the cops". He's naive thinking his friend will get better, when he was literally laying on a mattress with bottles all around him.
Both people with concerns just had trouble voicing their opinions, because the other person was so selfish and they're soft hearted.

Having the psychologist on the show made me detest the hosts so much, i used to love their comedic repertoire until i noticed serious concerns not being given the advice or attention they deserved...i feel like it'd be a much better show to have the expert on more often if not just replace all the hosts with experts who have a sense of humour...i don't understand how korean people can ignore a psychologist telling them you're an alcoholic because it's their life but one cannot say no to a friend who pressures them to drink and puts them in massive debt...i honestly felt more sorry for the alcoholic because he has bad friends in my opinion, like the psychologist said good friends wouldn't go out and enable an alcoholism, and none of them love him enough to stand up to his manipulative behaviour, that's my devil's advocate opinion on this

The first case reminds of a friend. It's true what Dr. Yang said. She had to claim her own freedom by moving away. Her mother was obsessed with musical theatre! She dragged even all our friends to her performances 😂😂😂and my friend was never free to hand out because rehearsals and performances!

It's nice to have an expert in the show but I think the disadvantage of it is that there will be 'labeling' and others will be considered 'sick' or 'patients'. It's being shown nationwide, it can be bad. It was nice that the psychologist was able to explain some stuffs that might be difficult to understand but I hope they can work off-cam on the deeper issues for the person's confidentiality.

Even though the dancing concern is a valid concern I think the Alcohol one is bigger... I'm surprised that it lost. I mean of course you shouldn't over do anything too much but I never heard of anyone dancing them selves to death rather drinking themselves to death. He should really get some help, he really had a serious withdrawal issue. I wish him luck and hope he stops and gets the help he needs.

KBS should to invite expert every shows, because singer and actor they didnt seriously think about the concerns they usually answered "yes. it is concern you should get better" and clicking their button and then most of them had purpose that promotion their new song.. and movie theatre things..
i think those things are really makes me uncomfortable for watching this show.

The professional is back! If they won't hire a professional for every episode, then they need to stop taking such serious concerns.
The first concern of the mother sounds like she won't have too many people attending her funeral.She obviously cares ONLY for herself, lives vicariously through her son and is an overall controlling, manipulative bitch. It'll be good once the son figures out this and decides to leave and live his own life.

the psychologist is right, a real friend is not the friend that is with you everyday every second when you need them, but is to help you to leave your burdens and your bad habits and know what is the best for the friend that is sick psychically and mentally, but the friend has been brainwashed by the sick man, so hope he realise now

The second guy definitely has a problem when it comes to alcohol and it seems like he only lives to drink. But one thing that surprises me is, that he seems to be really clear about the reasons for his alcohol problem. But he just doesn't have any will to fix it and also - from his point of view - there is no reason for him to fix it. The woman that wanted to marry him was not a reason big enough to quit... he should really get professional help.
