I lived and worked in Nice for very many years from the mid-90s and flew very frequently in/out of NCE. In those pre-911 days it was easy to get an invite to the flight deck, from where the views during arrivals/departures were always spectacular. I actually lived high up on Mont Boron - the headland above Nice port - and so had a grandstand view for the various comings & goings to NCE. My all-time favourites were the circle-to-land approaches to run 22, because I felt I could almost touch the plane as it turned from base to finals right in front of me. But the most spectacular experience was one time when 2 BA Concordes brought fans down for the Monaco GP. Those amazingly speedy birds couldn't turn within the radius of the Baie des Anges, so they turned final over Cap Ferrat, and zoomed literally right overhead my apartment on final approach. Very memorable and happy days.

14:50 It is pleasing that the flight crew use the command, "clear take off"" without the 'to.'
The 'to's' and the 'for's' can give rise to confusion.

Because she hasn't reached 1500 hours flying time yet. It's an Aer lingus protocol. When she reaches that milestone she'll get her third stipe. She can still do everything a three stripe F/O can do she just needs more hours.

It's a standard procedure on most European airlines. The FO has to build up a certain number of flying hours (1500 in the Aer Lingus company) and only then can they receive their 3rd stripe and the rank of SFO. There's no difference between those stripes, but 4 stripes are reserved for captains

@@EmpyreanLightASMR Pax is the abbreviation for passenger. Pack however stands for pneumatic air cycle kit and it's basically the air conditioning system which pressurizes the cabin. Depending on outside conditions, weight, runway length etc. they are turned off or on APU for more engine power. You would switch them on once climb thrust is set shortly after takeoff. Some airlines have the check in the flow when setting climb thrust or even in the after takeoff checklist. But the Airbus will remind you if you forgot it.
