- Welcome to Madrid. Spain’s biggest city - home to nearly 7 million people and the capital city of Spain, this city is a cultural masterpiece and a gem of a city to visit!
In this video, I collaborate with my good friend Cherrie (@cherriepie - give him a sub!) and explore this beautiful city. Come with us as we explore the gastronomical and cultural world of Madrid!
First up, we head to Mercado de San Miguel - a foodie’s paradise. We then head over to the Royal Palace - or Palacio Real - of Madrid. Officially, this is the residence of the Spanish Royal Family, although they don’t live there any more. But this palace is a treasure trove of history and is a real treat to visit. What is more, it’s quite cheap to visit! There are also ways to enter this palace for free! Check out my video to find out how you can do so.
Even though Madrid a bustling urban centre, it surprised me by how Green the city and the surrounding areas are. Come with me as I explore Retiro Park, or Parque de Retiro. A large, tranquil park right in the city centre - a favourite of Madrileños and tourists alike.
As you might know by now, I also love my food. It’s part and parcel of a trip or a holiday abroad. In my eyes, it would be a sin not to check out the best places to eat and drink! So in this video, check out some of my food and eating recommendations in and around the centre of Madrid.
