I just came back from Spain, and fell in LOVE with Madrid... the cleanliness, the polite people, the FOOD, including the bread and coffee...My dear god....Amazing!!!
So glad to hear that!! Madrid is definitely an amazing city 😍 And you’re spot on about the bread and the coffee haha!!
omg i’m moving to spain in the fall and can’t WAIT for the bread
@@Lydia-vg8pw it is absolutely amazing, and the coffee, oh dear...
Other good things about Madrid: 1) it's very clean. 2) It's very socially active. In the city center at least, there are several large plazas that are themselves always active, and they're surrounded by bars, restaurants, cafes and stores. 3) Walk down any street and you'll find even MORE bars, restaurants, cafes and stores. 4) For English-speakers, there is a lot of English signage, and most people I had to speak with, i.e., store clerks, restaurant workers, hotel staff, etc., spoke at least some English. 5) VERY friendly people, all the time, everywhere. 6) The food. I found I didn't like Spanish food, but every kind of cuisine you can think of is represented there, so if you want American, French, Italian, Indian, or Mexican, you can find it.
Great points!! Thank you for sharing. Glad you enjoyed Madrid 😊
There is not such thing as "Spanish food". There are many cuisines in Spain and very different to one another.
I love Spanish food compared to Portuguese’s vomit soup they all eat everyday 😂😂
The wife and I visited Madrid and thought it was wonderful. The people, culture, food, and things to do were amazing!
I am from Mexico, I went for erasmus to Madrid and I absolutly felt in love with the city. I love to walk all the city, the night life, travelling around, the food, the cultural activities, everything to be honest I loved it.
Thanks guys, it’s good to know your opinion and facts. Looking forward to seeing you in your next video.
Anytime! Glad you found it useful ☺️
You guys are amazing, keep doing vlogs because you're really great at it! I might move to Madrid for work this year and your video got me excited :D
Thanks so much! It means a lot 🥰 Good luck moving to Madrid! You will love it 😍
Thanks a lot for your advices guys !!!
Anytime! Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks for the vid
Big Pro-Transportation. It's easy to get around on Metro, bus, rail.
Facts!!
I was there a month ago - when it was raining every day. I still fell in love with it and have considered moving there, but I know the summer temperatures are sweltering, and air-conditioning is rare. If I moved there, I would NEED air conditioning.
Air conditioning is quite common, and summer temperatures are generally not excessively high. Typically, there are one to three heatwaves each year, usually occurring between mid-July and mid-August. However, even during those days, you can comfortably go for a run at 8:00 a.m. with temperatures ranging from 20 to 24º C. Btw, it's a dry heat, making it quite bearable when compared to the heat in cities located along the shore or near large rivers
@@robert111k Thanks!
Todo el mundo tiene aire acondicionado en Madrid
can't wait for a video about BARCELONA.
Thanks for watching! We haven’t lived in Barcelona but we visited and made a travel vlog ☺️ You can check it out here: czcams.com/video/sYXfCa1hdkU/video.html
Incredible food, incredible level to live, incredible públic transport, incredible cultural live, incredible live to nigth, incredible museum, incredible security in the streets, incredible parks, incredible peoples, the madrileños and spanish are persons very hospitality, incredible live to Sports, is the house of real Madrid, is the most green city in Europe, is a rich city, etc etc cons? Not have
Hello Jaime ! I love Madrid but what held me off was the idea that is was not green at all. It was a sourprise to know it was very green. Do u think that is a fact ? Thanks !
@@orsorodrigo It depends where you go! Casa de Campo is the most green part of Madrid which is on the West side of the center and there are greener parts like different gardens and Parque del Buen Retiro. Other places in the outskirts of the city are very very green with little to no construction. So, yeah, Madrid is really big is not just the center.
There is not such a thing like city without any cons. That's how it is, that's life ;)
Diversity too
its not the most green city, that's actually Berlin. reason: in difference to most cities on the planet, Berlin has a true urban-green structure (thanks to the Prussian). this means: back then the city planning was _consequently_ done by filling the city with extra wide streets AND alleys. most cities have that only on boulevards as exception here and then in the older structures. In case of Berlin this means you have more than often a lot of space for street cafes AND pedastrians AND trees/alleys AND a bike lane AND 2 or more car lanes (in the future e-car lanes) AND relatively often additional in the middle another tree row/over ground trains or other trees. Cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, London etc. have usually masses of Tree-less streets (often very narrow) or never build this way
- only for some representation streets. apart from that you have of course also in Berlin masse of urban-street parks (old ones with classical constructions like statues etc.) and new ones (and over 30 lakes, masses of channels, harbors, 5 rivers etc.). This means: many cities count more or less some wood or other things in which tells not much, because it depends on how the city borders are back then politically decided. if a city has exactly the same green but not within the 'formal' city then its considered less green even if the reality is not like that. in case of Berlin there is also a lot of green and an entire culture landscape (for kings etc. to relax, to play, as representation). the reason behind why the Prussians did that back then was that you had in Germany all the time (already since the Germanic tribes) a lot of 'nature' idealism (sometimes ideology) and when the European cities started to grow more due to the industrial revolution, first big waves of urbanizations then this was also the time when Germany/Prussia became the most dominant and most modern power. And the city planning was made with a garden architect ('Lenne' usually). that was not unusual, but the consequent structural immersion was ...
zhank you fot your video
Great and very interesting video. I'm looking to Spain soon from Scotland if I can (if I can learn Spanish fast enough...) and looking at either Valencia or Madrid. Valencia has the beaches but Madrid has the jobs in the industry I have my degree in so it's a bit of a balancing act to chose between. Thanks for the informative video.
Glad you found it useful! Yeah all of that is true, you’ll also find a bigger community if internationals in Madrid 😊 Good luck with the move!
You can get to the Valencia beaches from Madrid in one and a half hour. Not a big deal.
Hello did you manage to move to Spain? as I am also hoping to move next year so would love some advice.
@@MissTariroCashMoneey unfortunately not yet. Still trying to get finances sorted. Picked the year of inflation to try and save....
Moving to Madrid in October🥰 excited! Thanks for this,
So glad to hear that!! Good luck with your move, you will love it 😊
did u go ? how was it

@@june9775 How’s been so far ? 🤞
To both of you this was so helpful! I am exactly what you said was best for Madrid. I’m 28 and really live an already calm simple life. I’m an avid bike and train commuter. This was exactly what I was looking for. I have 2 questions.
1. Would a passive income of roughly 1200 usd be enough to live here as I study to become a teacher?
2. Do you have a videos or know of any that give an helpful overview of the paperwork process? Or other channels?
Thank you
I wanted to add I am almost the complete opposite. I love taking my time in cafes, having lunch at two and getting up later in the day. I also love cold winter days with sun 😂
Hey Alex! So glad to hear our video was useful 🥰 To answer your questions:
1. Yes, $1200 is enough, you just need to be strategic with accommodation (rent a room, or a studio in the outskirts)
2. We don’t have any, although we’re working on putting something together in the near future so we’ll make sure to share it when we do! What we found the most useful when dealing with paperwork is just finding a phone number in the government and call when we didn’t know the process or what to do next.
Good luck with the move!
BTW, the airport is AMAZING!
Good video. I've never seen The Amazing Asian Spiderman before. But now I have. He's his Asian Doppler lol 👍
Really moving to Madrid and be a certified Madrillena!
What is the wheather at winter? I know that portugal for example can be pretty cold becouse no heating in apartments there.
It definitely gets cold during winter - the temperature goes up during the day when the sun shines (12C / 53F) and down at night (3C / 37F) but all the apartments have heating so we don’t have that problem in Madrid 😊
great video! i am coming to be a student at UC3M from the UK (I'm 18) i will be living in leganes just outside of Madrid, do you have any advice for me to experience Madrid : )
Oh that’s amazing! Hope you have the best time here ☺️ Just to be open to experiences and sign up to as many things as possible to meet please. Oh and to adjust your schedules! Everything happens much later in Madrid 😋
Do you recommend a particular area de to live? for example they recommended me to live in Moncloa! But, mmhm I don't know. thank you
Moncloa is great area for the young, there’s lots of uni students around there 😊 Another similar place can be near Principe Pio. If you’re looking for a more international/mature area try Chamberí, it’s super up and coming! Atocha area is also nicely central. There’s just so many places !! Depends what you’re looking for and what you like 😊
agree! the work and beureucracy is sooooo long
True! That's why we launched Matutto, our company helping Expats moving to Spain with their paperwork 😊
How do you keep your apartment warm in the winter and cool in the summer
We have heating and air conditioning systems. I believe heating is compulsory in most buildings but I don’t think aircon is!
How do you go about meeting people? I’ve been applying to jobs in Madrid
For expats, usually the best way is to join Facebook groups and attend events and meetups 😊
A video with this subject would be Soooo beneficial for some of us who are moving there and want to create or be part of community ❤
*talks about being anxious* “Maybe that’s one of the reasons why I won’t ever be truly happy”
Felt that 🥲
Thanks for your guys’ video. I knew I would love it in Madrid, now I’m double sure!
Hahaha you get it!! Thanks so much for watching ☺️ Glad the video was helpful!
For Bureaucracy, There are lawyers who do this instead of you
What do you think about a music producer going to live in Madrid, do you think its a good ideal to make money in madrid?
We're not sure how the music production scene is doing in Madrid to be honest. But in our opinion you should consider going there for a few months, feeling the vibe yourself, and if you like it, great. If you don't, there's always the next destination :)
How do you find a cheap, but good place to stay?
Navigating the real estate market in Madrid can be complicated. To find a better price-quality balance, it’s often best to look outside of the centric and most popular areas. You can find other places with a good commute to the centre and a better price.
I’m moving to Madrid for uni and I’m so scared of moving out
Oh don’t be scared! I felt the same when I moved to the UK for University, but soon enough you’ll make friends and create unforgettable memories 😊Madrid is a great city!
Hi.Did you go Madrid?
You guys are so cute 😍
Hehe thank youu 🥰
Is life in madrid better the barcelona?
It depends what you want! Madrid is bigger so it can feel like there’s more to do but Barcelona has beach 😅
Barcelona has a LOT more pickpockets.😉
Free healthcare 🎉
That kinda videos are always subjektiv
the sound volume suddenly goes very low the last few minutes. also the background music sound volume is too high and I felt uncomfortable to listen with my headphones.
I guess you guys didn't like it so much after all since you moved back to Dubai 😢
Hi Guys.Whu is living In Madrid or Spain now??
Hello! You can say we are Digital Nomads at the moment and are inbetween countries all year, but we spend a few months in Spain every year 😊
You did the toast in the wrong way the tomate goes first then the olive oil
No
@@joseluisluque449 oh yes
Talk about tax that's more important
Where do the expats congregate?
I don’t think there is a unique area where expats live, as the city is very diverse. But some neighbourhoods that are popular amongst Expats are Salamanca, Chamberí, Malasaña, Chueca…
Welp, post BREXIT, all I can do now is just dream
quien te dijo a ti, que eres linda?
cons low salary
CLAVE PIN IS HELL. It was created by Satan himself (his best work). Good video! Subscribed!
😂😂😂 This made us laugh HARD 😂😂😂 Welcome to our channel! 🙌🏻
The video is absolutely useless. Zero information. It could be good for tourists, but for a person who wants to relocate to Spain - waste of time. Everyone know that there are a lot of sun, great food, interesting nightlife. Tell me about renting prices and public transportation. It is possible to rent for a foreigner? How hard to apply for residence? What cost of health insurance? Is it mandatory? How much is auto insurance? Is it necessary to have a car? And so on… Do you, people, work? Or you nightclubb-coffedrinking football fans?

wait a second, relax a bit right???? The only thing the boys have done is tell you their pros and cons and how they feel.....if you want more information, the most normal thing is to continue watching a lot of videos that are in English and Spanish throughout CZcams. .....give the boys a second to enjoy and live their experiences...
@@powernorton9779 Disagree. The video title is "WATCH BEFORE MOVING!" in capital letters with an exclamation sign. I simply disagree when people intentionally mislead audience with deception carried out for the sake of publicity.
Why are you so entitled? If you are so desperate for relevant information, go do your own research ! They don't owe you anything. You are rude.
Madrid is rubish. To much hot in summer and to much cold in winter.
Perhaps you meant to say "I dislike the weather in Madrid"?
