It actually is. Takes place during a Christmas party in LA in an office tower. Die Hard 2 takes place at an airport in... DC? NY? It's on the east coast, but again, Christmas time. So, yeah, technically, Die Hard 1 and 2 are that rare breed of Christmas action movies. Like Lethal Weapon. That takes place during Christmas time in LA too.
