    Yes I wasn’t to fond of the 7.8 gauge when I had it. It was a pain to get things connected.
    I did like the gauge for “just a gauge “
    Great video Paiste.

      Thanks Kranky. I pretty much just use it as a gauge and route the phone calls thru it. It charges the phone better to when you don't have it fully linked.

      BRP really have to step up their game in the gauge dept. No comparison to what Polaris has. This is coming from a ski doo guy. ☃️👍👍

      I agree. The dealers feel the same way too. I talked to a ski-doo rep from Canada about it a few years back but they are do it the cheap way.

    what mics are you running? Are you pushing a button on handle bar to talk?. enjoy the videos

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy  Před 10 měsíci

      I'm not sure of the brand of had but they are lavalier mics and need an adapter to convert to (RTS) ring tip sleeve from (RTTS) ring tip tip sleeve.
      The button on the handlebars is to talk on the communicator. These units work better with the button activation versus auto mode since a sled noise could trigger the voice activation.
      Thanks for watching.

    Its almost fall. Its time to start getting the parts for the sled and all those things on last years wish list.

      @Paisteboy  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Yup! I bought new gloves and a back up oxygen helmet cable while I was in Old Forge a couple weeks ago. Now I have to get my shox rebuilt and look over the sled. I don't get the sled and trailer back out of storage until October though. Thanks for watching Steve.

      Are you going to take the gang up there this winter for a week of sledding? Any sledding trips planned? @@Paisteboy

      I'm going to try to get them up there but I can't guarantee anything this early.

    Hey Buddy…..@18:00 remember our conversation about the O2 helmet and all the electrical problems I had with it? One was the visor the other was the control cord that goes in the jacket. Keep an extra on you at all times, its another $40.00 you’ll have to spend to be able to ride confidently with that helmet. Other than that hope you are well and looking forward to more videos!

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy  Před 10 měsíci

      Yes. I haven't forgotten and never doubted what you were saying.
      I bought an extra cord that you run in the coat a couple of weeks ago when I was in Old Forge.
      I haven't had any issues myself. Also Dennis aka (Duke) has three oxygen helmets and hasn't had a single issue with any of them and he's had his almost since they came out. I think there may be a slight quality control issue going on at BRP with these helmets being consistently reliable. So far so good for me.
      Thanks for watching buddy.

    Another question, when in maine did you guys ever need the extra gas carried on the tunnel???

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Yes. 1 day, I'm not sure what video it is and if it was a 2 parter but 4 of the 8 guys had a gas caddy and the trip we took that day was going to be too close not to have extra gas with us.
