      I am about to mount them, when you remove the screw near the rear brake pedal, anything I should be aware of? Is there a metal bar that I need to push in?

    Embora os ferros não sejam muito bonitos, a verdade é que a mota compensa.
    E como a segurança está sempre em primeiro lugar, vale bem a pena.
    Grande abraço.

      Realmente tive algum receio quando os encomendei, mas sinceramente fiquei satisfeito com o resultado final.
      Como são da cor do motor e envolvem bem as tampas, são muito discretos! Quase só os vês quando chegas ao pé da moto!
      Obrigado pelo comentário.

    Why time-lapse doesn't show how you can have potential problems with bottom through-bolt or how to sort it

    Good job, all the angles and the before-after pics! I was wondering how YOU feel about the weight-volume of the bike (after your 650V-strom) in the city and everyday slow driving/parking etc. I'm planning to get the Tracer soon, and I'd like to know what your experience was.Thank you!

      Well for me the Tracer is better on riding on urban environments, because it as a similar weight of the strom 650, but it feels lighter and smaller and is not so tall as the Strom. i can put all my feet on the ground when i stop (1,82m), giving me a better secure fell.
      As for the rest of the bike, briefly and very quickly, I like:
      - powerful engine;
      - comfort;
      - fuel consumptions;
      - Cruise control;
      - quick shifter;
      - the TFT dash.
      What i dislike:
      - reduced load capacity (185Kgs)
      - side bags with very little space (20Lt each);
      - Top case causes oscillation of the motorcycle (i advise not to use);
      - some turbulence and noise from the front screen.
      Cheers

      If you are still thinking about it, I just bought a T9GT as well and have some initial thoughts. It weighs 20lbs more than my old Ninja 650R, but it actually feels lighter, because the controls and seat are up high and they kept the T9GT weight down low. Feels very easy to manage. The windscreen is awful at speed, but I replaced it with a California Scientific large size, with additional Puig clip-on; it's much better now (I'm 6'3/193cm ish). It handles just fine in the city, but it feels very large (just in terms of dimensions, not weight). I'm always afraid I'm going to hit things, and I have accidentally clipped a car mirror with my mirror while splitting (sorry!) Overall I love it, and it was a great purchase, amazing value for the money. IMHO this bike is a great balance between an every day get-around bike and that ADV life. Can be used comfortably for both. Last weekend I went on a ~6 hour, 250 mile ride and at the end I still felt fresh and alive, so it's also very comfortable for long days in the saddle (can't be said of my old Ninja, lol!)

      @@MotorMercMVU thank you, that really helps! Only drawback now is the reduced weight the frame can handle for the pillion.It's either sidebags and passenger or tail bag and passenger, not all 3. But I can live with that, for all the reduced weight...

    Hola, which radiator cover are you using? Do you know that radiator covers for 2015-2017 model years also fits to 2019 model year T9/T9GT?

    • @ParaladaEscocia
      @ParaladaEscocia  Před 4 lety

      Hi, its a oem Yamaha original brand! I think it fits, because they didn't change anything in the engine on the 2018 model, but its better to check that with your local dealer. Cheers

    • @ParaladaEscocia
      @ParaladaEscocia  Před 5 lety +1

      The bolt "rotates"! as you can see if you pause the movie at 1:01, there is someone grabbing the bolt from the other side so it cant rotate. I believe this is a long bolt that grabs the exhaust. Cheers
