I not only like this watch, I love it! It's on my wrist right now as I watch this review. I opted for the off-white/ivory face. It is amazing!
Wow... absolutely gorgeous. I have two N.T.T.D homage watches and this titanium adds so much more to the whole semi-dull uniqeness. Heimdalr is truly impressive.
Happy to report my dial and movement do not shift around when I open the crown. I got the same model. My lume pip was not centered, and my movement is a bit fast, seems to be about +9 or 10 seconds a day, but over all I'm very impressed with the build quality. Also, I think it is an aluminum bezel insert, not ceramic, but I think someone already pointed that out. Thanks for the video!

First of all.....happy day! A video from my friend Mr. Grimwood! Always nice to hear from you sir. Second, that is a very nice piece. While I'd put it on something other than a NATO, overall I like that watch. Well done video, and I hope you'll be doing more vids in 2021 and maybe......maybe......a live stream or two?

Looks good, especially in that colour option! Crown is slightly worrying.
Looks the dogs in my mind. But yeah i will be looking into te crown, Don't think it will be a hard fix but still many people would not be able to carry out such a job.
This does look really good. I have a few of the various NTTD homages. But not this one... Yet. I'd be careful if you're thinking of getting the Pagani Design one though. I have one, albeit, in a different colour variation. But it had some real issues. However I have been told (by Pagani Design) that they've fixed them now. But they wouldn't send me, to do a comparison review. So make of that what you will.
Great review. You mention the bezel insert is ceramic (3:58), the Heimdallr website says it's aluminum. Can you confirm?
Bought this watch for $239. Went and looked at the real thing at the local Jewellers at just over $11000 and boy it is proof how luxury watch prices are just plain stupid because it certainly wasn't worth $10700 more.

I am wearing one right now, only thing I don’t like is the screw down crown doesn’t take much to unscrew now. Only about half a turn at most. Also had some minor issues with the bracket but that’s not really something to really complain about.
Edit: it turns out the threading was actually stripped and hind dollar is going to repair it for me into it still being under warranty. I’m shipping it out today
Great review. I bought the Pagani in December 2020. Mine has no back play on the bezel and is running at +/- 0 seconds a day with its NH35. Maybe i was lucky and i only paid £73. I prefer the Heimdallr however but its twice the price with the same movement.
Hi Kyle. I'm a fan of Heimdallr and so I'm pretty disappointed by the quality of the lume, they should've done a better job of it. My skx homage of theirs is like a torch in comparison. Glad to see they've done a decent job of the bezel as they seem to have been getting criticism in that area with other models. Good to see you back mate we've missed that Geordie vibe.✌️
Hi Mate, yeah there is a few points which could be worked on. Going to look at the movement and see how i can fix that. And i know have a house move going on and working from home has really took up my time. Hopefully by March/April i will be back in the swing of things :)
BTW it's Heimdallr and not Helmdallr. Agree with you about their watches. I also have their 62MAS, their orange Sharkey Ocean Monster, and only yesterday ordered the titanium white Sea Ghost (but don't tell my wife!).
Being a Jeordie is no excuse for pronouncing Heimdallr incorrectly. Agree, Heimdallr are arguably the best value for money watch available. It's a nice watch, and I like the logo. I just don't think the two go together though.
I ended up with the Pagani and the Bliger verions of the NTTD Watches. And Weighed them the Pagani weighed in at 70 Grams The Bliger 66 Grams "Weighed Watch Bodies only". The Bezel action on the Pagani was the worst I have ever had. Glad I left the stickers on it. I will be selling the Pagani . I may get one of these Beauties.
I originally bought the Sea Ghost and wasn’t used to how light it was. Mainly because I’ve never owned a titanium watch. So I sold it and bought the Pagani Design 007 in blue. Now I kinda of miss the Sea Ghost. 😕
@@brianthomas9191 Yea I had the pagani and it was heavy and Bulky. I ended up keeping the Bliger model. However I kept the Black Pagani Strap. Fits the Bliger. And Nice. However it is Hard to attach. check out my instagram for shots of the Bliger timothythomas82871421 and a Drawing of JOMW
The bezel insert is centered but the bezel is not! Drives me crazy! lolll
Where is the titanium bracelet? Nice review. I agree, Heimdallr makes a pretty nifty watch. ( I really enjoy the bronze Cronos I purchased, too; great lume).

I got both! The sharkey in blue for a bit of difference.
This maybe too late, but the Heimdallr feels better quality & probably sized more to the original. The lume is OK ( better than Phylida) but only the end pips are lumed so can be hard to read.
It's flatter & wider than the Phylida, which has the dial deeper from the crystal. I got the PT5000 movement in the Phylida- nice sweep. There's a rattle in the case - me thinks the rotor needs lube, or needs to be screwed down more(?).

I am getting this one selling the Bliger and Getting one of the Omega Homage Waxed Canvas watch Bags opn Ali to make the Homage Complete. Wish Heimdallr had included the Bag .
I was going to.mod a watch just as I like those hands.this would be a better option . I have an Oceanus & titanium as so good in summer. However, I do know that has been treated as titanium can wear without, but that's at a different price , so if it holds up - great.

The escape valve is purely cosmetic if I'm not mistaken. Also 'heim'dallr, not helmdallr. ;)

@@williammaclachlan4284 you're correct sir, I stand corrected :) I recalled the conversations with Heimdallr about it when they were designing the watch, I thought it was being added for cosmetic reasons but I am mistaken. Another cool detail of this watch! :)

Nice Review, but i will go with the Phylida NTTD with PT5000, i'm a bracelet guy.
I hatee getting short Natos. I won't even buy one any more unless the seller will give me a measurement. A Standard Nato should be about 12 inches or a foot long. 11.5 will work. I ordered 5 NATOs and they were so short they must had been for Kids.

It's from a company called Georges straps, when i bought this it was 3 for £27 which is a great deal i think :)
The crowns strip easily because they are made of titanium. Poor design.

That movement wobble within the case is unacceptable. whatever you think of the looks, this is just poorly made and useless. People keep wasting their money on these poorly made homage watches.
