    Use freezer paper...shiny side up to spread instead of plastic wrap. It's easier to control...and reusable. And you can write on it so you don't have to guess what colors used.

      Is freezer paper the same as parchment paper? If not, Will parchment paper work?

    • @peepla7
      @peepla7 Před 3 lety +2

      Freezer paper is white paper with a coating of plastic on one side. Sold by Reynolds. Used for wrapping meats...if that helps. The plastic side ... waterproof...keeps it from getting soaked like parchment paper can. Aluminum foil is too weak in this sense as the glitter and foil combo will not be good....foil will fall apart, fingers will poke thru and such

    Hi sugar geek show I made this edible glitter and used it on a 21st birthday cake. I was lucky enough to get to try it, but I really didn't like it at all. It was hard and sharp-ish and not really edible. I was wondering if mine came out wrong or if maybe I say it's for decoration only and to remove before eating, so maybe use only on buttercream as it can be cut off rather than fondant which it wont scrape off and i dont like wasting fondant. It did look amazing though! Thank you :)
