the cap off of a can of spray paint works very well and it will cost you nothing.
And it will look like it cost you nothing, too...
Do you need an after market AIR INTAKE ? or can it be wit the stock one ?
I think an aftermarket intake doesn’t have one
A easier way to add the plug is to leave the billet plug in the fridge or freezer for hours. Then run the ruck for a good bit of time, get the plug out & it pops on easier. No rubber mallet needed.
TDNomad The plug was left in the freezer for two days and the truck was at operating temp when this install was going on. I did a little research before I made this video. It still required some persuasion with the rubber mallet lol.
Do you have to have this deleted in a time as well?
Also what are the benefits? Cleaner turbo?
Also, for the pcv reroute, don you have to have an egr delete for that too or no?
No you don’t delete the egr to do a pcv re route. You just need the plugs for the mouthpiece for the turbo and usually people buy the PPE kit for the re route since it’s made of billet steel instead of plastic which is what most of them consist of. You plug the resonator then you plug the pcv hole right below it behinds the turbo. Keeps the turbo clean and makes the life of the turbo increase.
Sir I believe if you want better throttle response and more airflow as you talk about in the video, add another turbo
Diehl Does Sir I believe that the price between this simple plug and the extra turbo is quite different. For now this will do lol.
I do know of a local company who can hook you up with an add a turbo kit pretty cheap if you're ever interested

On some truck models yes, depends on filter location and what kind of windshield wipers you are running
Does it make your turbo louder
Yes sir. The turbo spools a lot louder and it is very noticeable around 1300-1800rpm.
Make block off for 2011 DIRTYMAX ? Going twin turbos but waiting for my warranty to go out first.
My dads spools up at 2000rpm no difference
