- From levels to bosses. Seems like a natural way to go. Sonic bosses are remembered for a variety of reasons, and I’m going through the games again to see which ones are great and which ones royally suck. Same format as last time but with more games than before. Hope you enjoy it.

Let me know what you guys consider the best and worst bosses in the Sonic games you played. Which video should I cover next? EWW Shadow or EWW Sonic Rush?
I would say Shadow EWW, mostly because I know nothing about Rush, that's pretty much my reasoning.

I’m surprised the worst boss in Shadow wasn’t the infamous Egg Dealer. That one is a slot machine that will either attack itself, give shadow rings, or activate shadow chaos fury.
Yeah, it's pretty dumb, but I'd rather fight that than listen to Eggman say the same line nonstop.

For forces I'd say infinites first fight is the best, Sonic runs all over a snake to damage Infinite and Infinite uses his powers to try to stop you and if you get hit by his attack you'll see things that aren't really there for about 10 seconds.

In my opinion, aside from the final boss, I find the third Infinite fight to be the best boss in Forces, mainly because not only is it a copy of Metal Sonic, which is my 3rd favorite fight in the game, but it's also a lot more intense than the Metal Sonic fight in terms of music, difficulty, and atmospherism.
I actually had Shadow’s fight glitch in generations, when I got to Sonic’s Super attack no asteroids appeared and Shadow had completely de-spawned while Sonic was just running in place soft-locking my guy
I had a similar glitch in the Silver boss, I died at the same time I got hit somehow and everything froze, Silver despawned, none of the obstacles or rings had collision, and the music stopped. Also after I let the time run out, Sonic did his death animation but since the game already thought Sonic was dead, it didn't restart, so I could just slide around while laying down, though I couldn't jump or boost.
My favorite boss is King Boom Boo from Sonic adventure 2, his boss theme was so badness, I enjoy chasing the boo holding the hourglass, and you can easily lower King Boo's hp if your fast enough. A boss fight I hate the most the was the boss of Planet Wisp in Sonic Colors because when we were kids me and my cousin died so much to his laser attacks.
Great to see you like king boom boo, I personally think hed the worst boss in the game cus it mostly consists of you running back and forth until he vomits and you can hit the ghost with the hour glass, this is especially annoying when you need to get the final hit in, but if you like it,that's totally fine, another boss I dislike is chaos 4, mainly cus again, you're just waiting for him to come up to get a hit in and it drags on, though not as much as boom boo,but still
The boss you're referring to is called the Refreshinator(Heinz Doof probably named this one)

My Favorite Boss Is The Egg Vortex From Sonic 3 Because It’s Easy To Deal With But Only If You Get Away From The Propeller And You Need To Jump On The Geyser And Hit Eggman While Avoiding The Bombs He Dropping But You Can Also Used Them To Hit Eggman If Your Lucky Of Course
I did not expect this list, nobody really talks about the bosses in Sonic games. But I for one think they're cool, my fav is probably Dark Gaia and my least fav is either Robotnik/Eggman's easiest fights or Chaos 0.
Oh yeah, and Silver's fight in 06. That one sucked.

When my sister and I first fought Metal Sonic in Rise of Lyric, it reminded us a lot of the first Infinite fight from Sonic Forces.

And for next video, in context Rush before 06 so we'll go with Shadow (Obviously not the first video Charriii made because that video sucked)
I disagree on the worst sonic Advance 2 boss, the egg-go-round is actually pretty easy if you know what to expect and pay close attention to the platforms and energy shots, the hardest thing about that boss is knowing when and when not to jump (which is kinda the same for all the bosses tbh), my pick for the absolute worst boss in that game is honestly a tie between the egg saucer and the Aero egg. The Egg Saucer it's self isn't a bad concept, but the fact that the big hand thing one shots you quite literally ruins the whole thing and makes it extremely unfair, in the franchise, you only die to damage if you don't have rings, but you could literally have every single ring on that arena and then die to a giant hand bitch slapping your character which just doesn't make sense. If that boss is ever remade, don't make the hand a one hit kill move. As for the Aero Egg? Literally fuck that boss, it's constantly dropping bombs it's a hassle considering that you lose momentum when you jump and even still you can jump over the blast and still get bitched by the debris, at least its kinda manageable before until it gets to it's second phase, then it's just constantly dropping bombs forcing you to have to constantly jump which makes the fight take sooo long to beat, literally fuck that boss
Fair enough. I just found myself raging at the Egg-Go-Round more than the others.

Nice list, found myself agreeing with a lot of your picks. If I had any major disagreements, I feel like Mania's worst boss is easily Heavy Rider. At least you can get the Egg Pistons over with quickly if you're skilled enough. Heavy Rider just drags on and on and there's really no way to speed it up, plus the controls get a little wonky since it's an auto-runner. The metal sonic fight has similar issues but definitely makes up for it with its final phase. I prefer the Death Egg Robot, but I can see why you went with the former and it's still a good pick for Mania's best boss.

@@Hahahahahahhahahahahahahahaha Yea but at least with SS you can get hit and use your invincibility frames to spam hits and get it over with quickly. With Heavy Rider there is basically nothing you can do to make the fight go faster, it's such a slog.
Personally, Heavy King is the worst. The one where you fight him as Knuckles, that is. It’s clear they were trying to bring back the mechanic from the Knuckles Mecha Sonic fight, but oh my god, it’s so painfully easy. His one attack is a ground sweeping attack that can be avoided by standing one one of the numerous platforms in the arena. And furthermore, he can be absolutely wailed on once he drops, unlike Mecha Sonic, who had a tiny window before getting to the Master Emerald again. It’s painfully easy an simple compared to the other Hard Boiled Heavies. The one saving grace is that you get to fight in the emerald altar, which is awesome
This was good,2 of my favorite bosses are from colors, orcan skullian, cus the idea of chasing down a ship and gradually destroying it is awesome, and Nega wisp armor just cus its fun, I guess 2 others would be metal madness and the shadow fight from generations, also you charriis shadow video next, preferably the remake of it

Amazing video, I was kind of expecting final bosses as well, but that will be another time I guess, I love that skit with sonic 4 episode 1 as well, if final boss was included, metal robotnik would 100% be on the list. I was expecting final bosses too and Metal Robotnik is my hated Sonic boss and my second hated final boss ever first being Jasper Batt Jr.

36:33 I think the people meant they didn’t know that they needed to charge up the homing attack five times, because usually it only goes up to 3 charges.
Still, you’re taught in the first level that the homing attack can be charged for more effective use. So by the time you get to Zavok, you should be versed enough in it to use it on him.

In Sonic Adventure 2, i like both Sonic vs Shadow. I kinda like both tails vs eggman, i don't like knuckles vs rouge.

Another good video. One thing I noticed is that a lot of bosses have "egg" in their name. Does that make them hard to remember? And assuming the vote for which one is next isn't over, I'll have Shadow and Rush sins shortly, although I'll do Shadow first.

I would be willing to give Charriii a pass for half of his illogical sins if he just removed sins (But not stuff like the blatantly incorrect story details, sinning of popular bosses, and s*x jokes) but instead he needs to treat his sins like they're 100% valid!

Time Eater is the lowest and an F Tier Boss, you compare that with like Solaris, Alf Layla Wa Layla or Dark Queen and you can easily see that Final Boss is garbage, straight to the bin.

How did I only just think of this now- Why didn’t you include DS Colors? Both mentioned bosses in the list had variants in that version. And you know of Generations 3DS, why didn’t you add that?

For Unleashed I am not suprised with the choices and highly agree, as Egg Dragoon is amazing. And then the Dark Guardian SUCKS. At least on Xbox and PS3, there's *some* padding for the fight. On PS2 and Wii? Haha, NO. I've beat the Dark Guardian in 19.159 SECONDS, which dear god, is atrocious, the other bosses at least take time on the PS2 version (The one I have), even after playing them for over 10 years
I disagree on the 06 one, I personally think the Saloris fight is the best because your fighting against a god of time with 3 super hedgehogs that can stop it.
Solaris is the hardest villain Sonic has ever faced.
I thought he made a rule with no final bosses otherwise Metal Robotnik would have been featured.

@@tonysonic456 Yeah, that's my least favorite fight along with Black Bull and Egg Breaker. The first for being slow and boring, the second for being STUPID-easy and the third for just existing at best.
I hated Egg Emperor because of the annoying slash projectiles. Especially since it can hit you while in the air.
The egg dragoon is easily the best unleashed boss, I will agree, but I think the egg lancer deserves an honorable mention

In my experience of playing sonic games i only play sonic 1, 2, generations, and unleashed and for my favorite and least favorite boss are.
Sonic 1: best starlight zone boss worst labyrinth zone, boss
Sonic 2: Best Catcher eggman worst hilltop zone boss ngl it was ez like it took me only 5% of skill

First, I think you mean "repetitive". Second, the Egg Viper had multiple lines that were long but only said two or three times, and the Egg Emperor had one line that was incredibly short and that could be interrupted easily and was occasionally interrupted by Eggman's laughter. In the Egg Breaker, outside of the middle part, that's literally all he says, and it's long enough to be exhausting.
@@tonysonic456 I guess but “take this” and “get a load of this” get on my nerves more. You only fight “more the merrier” once while you fight “get a load of this” twice and “take this” 4 times
@@skibot9974 Well, "take this" is said four times and then it stops for laughter and then continues. Plus, once you get to the arena, it's possible to stop it altogether. With "get a load of this", it's only really twice and then Eggman says some other stuff before saying it two more times. Besides, the Egg Breaker fight is a nothing fight WITH repetitive dialogue. Egg Viper and Egg Emperor are awesome fights with awesome music, two things the Egg Breaker doesn't have.

Yeah, Sonic 06 mainly suffers from the glitches and stuff like that when it has a decent story, good final boss, and a great villain.

I think Zor in the 3ds boss is decent at best. Unless you're in a car, the fight can be painless and easy if you have good eyesight.
Colors doesn’t even try with its bosses theres pretty much only 3 technically and the Ferris wheel fights take like LITERALLY UNDER 10 SECONDS AND YES WITH THE INTENDED WAY TO BEAT IT
That's my only gripe with Colors, but I'm willing to look past it.

I didn’t watch much of it, but I did think it was funny.
Big Arms is the final boss in Sonic 3, and it doesn't happen in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, since the game just go to Mushroom Hill after you beat the Beam Rocket

I would argue that the Generations version of the Super Egg Robot is worse than Shadow.
I still struggle to nail the platforming for the second phase with the bombs.

I know the bosses are (kind of) the same, but you forgot "Sonic Colors" for the Nintendo D.S. and "Sonic Generations" for the Nintendo 3D.S.
Colors DS could've been mentioned, but the bosses in that version are pretty alright. The bosses in Generations 3DS just exist.

I give Death Egg Robot a pass since it's the second boss of the game. Shadow's far enough in to where you'd expect some challenge, and I get none.
@@tonysonic456 fair point, I just mostly dislike it because of how simple it is compared to every other fight. Metal Sonic came before this one and you can tell they put a lot of love into remaking that fight. But the Death Egg robot just seemed like a step back from the original. Yeah, the original was simple too, but it gets a pass for being the 2nd sonic game., and for its difficulty. It just ends up looking pathetic
the true disappointment with Generations bosses comes from the fact they could have made classic sonic fight classic knuckles in a rival battle

I agree completly for Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 and CD.
Sonic 3 I consider the best Big Arm as well but for the worst I’m giving it to Knuckles. You’d expect a guy who managed to harm Super Sonic to put up a much better fight. I can’t imagine how disappointing it was to kids who had to wait 8 months for Sonic & Knuckles to fight this guy
Sonic Adventure: I consider Beta Mk II the best for being a fair challenge, having amazing emotional impact and music. Beta slapping away your blast after every boss prior required no effort is a real “oh crap” moment. I agree that Chaos 4 is the worst
For SA2 I consider the best to be Sonic vs Shadow 2 for the reasons commonly cited. The worst is easily Biolizard due to being long and burning. Plus you can die through no fault of your own if Shadow lands in the current after hitting Biolizard
Sonic Heroes I completly agree
Sonic Advance 3 I would put either Cyber Speedway Gemerl or Hyper Eggrobo as best for being a fair test of skills. I agree on the worst front
Shadow the Hedgehog: while I agree Black Doom is the best I’m going to give the worst to Sonic & Diablon. As the fight is easy yet drawn out on account of how limited ammo is in the area. For a pattern that only takes 20 seconds to figure out the fight can go on for 5+ minutes if you’re not careful with ammo consumption. Also it robs us of a proper Sonic vs Shadow fight
Sonic Riders: Best boss is the rematch with Jet for being a fair fight to test your skills. The worst is the fight against Wave as that’s the point where the games lack of good tutorization (particularly with getting more air off of jumps) becomes a serious problem
Sonic Unleashed (Wii)
Best is Egg Dragoon for reasons you cited. Worst is I guess the dark Pheonix. I can’t remember the bosses that well but the Pheonix took me the longest
I agree with you on Black Knight but I’d like to add that my Wii’s disc drives ceased function while fighting Arthur meaning I lost the console that gave me over 10 years of memories and the last thing I used it for was a terrible boss
Colors Wii: I agree on the best but I would put the planet wisp boss at worst for being underwhelming
Generations 3DS: best is Biolizard for actually improving the fight. While the worst is the race with Shadow on account of Radical Highway being the worst stage in the game

and if you do EWW shadow the hedgehog video you have to do it twice because Charriii5 made two EWW shadow the hedgehog videos the original Aug 18,2014 and the remake Aug 18,2019.

First you can cheese it and defeat in less then 4 seconds, but even when you are fighting as developers wanted it will still take 10 seconds at most
Pinball one is bullshit. I hate pinball mechanic and it took me 6 minutes to beat + like Labynth zone boss, it's not really a fight just go to the top and jump 3 Times and win
