Elvis had an anointing from the Lord Jesus.. He always remembered where his gift came from. As he always remembered where he came from and grew up to become such a special person.
He went home at a young age but he left for everyone to enjoy is such a treasure..
This man is not a result of mere genetics...God did this.

TO think he thought he wouldn't be remembered? Elvis has owned my heart for almost 54 years now. it breaks my heart that he left us too soon. THE GOAT left us an amazing legacy of his beautiful recordings and he will be in my heart for ever. God bless and keep him. RIP ELVIS AND THANK YOU.

His Gospel songs are incredible. So much so, I now know all the words to all his Gospel songs. I listen to his Gospel albums every day. Elvis has brought more people back to God than one can only imagine with his beautiful spiritual voice. Your reaction was like mine the first time I heard his Gospel singing. Goosebumps, chills, and tears, Elvis sings these profound and thought provoking lyrics with such reverence to and for his Lord.
He caresses the lyrics, delivering the message of both prayer and hope, he,s singing from his soul, the words are clearly moving and uplifting him, gospel was his calling no doubt about that.
The arrangement and the backing vocals adding an extra depth and feeling to this beautiful religious song.

Sounds more like the Imperials singing in the background. This would be around 1970, after the Jordanaires left Elvis but before J. D. Sumner and the Stamps joined.
