  • The ARB E-Z Tire Deflator could possibly be the best tools you could have in your off road vehicle.
    ARB E-Z Deflator: amzn.to/2fCDpLI
    What I really like about the ARB E-Z Tire Deflator is that it's an all in one system that can do two functions. Pull the valve stem to deflate the tire quickly, and a tire pressure gauge.
    Step 1 Screw the ARB E-Z Deflator onto valve stem
    Step 2 Unscrew valve (if not completely unscrewed the air will flow slowly)
    Step 3 Lift the air valve on the ARB E-Z Deflator to release air
    Step 4 lower the air valve on the ARB E-Z Deflator to stop air at your desired pressure.
    Step 5 Screw back in the valve
    Step 6 Unscrew the ARB E-Z Deflator from valve stem

      Not at all. Staun or Trailhead deflators beat this hands down manual method of deflating.

    This was a really helpful video. I had read the instructions that came with this deflator, but was having trouble getting it to work correctly. I read some descriptions online and saw 2 other videos, but your video showed me that sliding the collar, not pushing in the valve stem slide was the one thing that made it work the way it should. Thanks -

    Really great review. That’s cool we are doing product reviews also just finished installing Steer Smarts XD Tie Rod and Draglink and did a little review of it. Will be posting it next week. Been wanting to get one of those deflators. my cousin had one in Moab I used and loved it. Now I definitely will. Can’t wait to see more from you.

    Bought one, doesn't fit the pin.
    Somehow the pin is a tad larger than the notch.
    Are there different sizes of this or is it a problem with mine ?

    After 10 years of owning this. It just sat in my toolbox. How can someone say EZ when you have to deflate/check/deflate check for each tire. Versus the other ones where you already have a preset PSI and just screw on one, release, move on to the other tires and be done? Perhaps I think this is really for those 40 inch all taller tires? to me it is a niche.

    Any tips on reinflating tires after airing them down? I just tested this and it took me 7 minutes to air up from 18 to 38PSI

    I’ve had mine for a few months and have never got it to work effectively. It just refuses to pull the core out. I ditched for the old school way and although it’s slower it is just as effective. These are cool but I wouldn’t classify it as a must have.

    I purchase one of these but I don’t know if it’s not working right or it’s user error, it lets air out but VERY slowly, I followed all the steps with removing the valve stem. It should work better than it is. Any ideas on what’s wrong?

    • @SnailTrail4x4
      @SnailTrail4x4  Před 5 lety +1

      It sounds like the valve stem isn't all the way out. You have to keep pressure pushing down on the valve stem while you remove it.

    • @ralphschroder7550
      @ralphschroder7550 Před 4 lety +2

      Joseph, your valves are probably (just as mine) a little longer than average. Therefore, don‘t screw the the ARB totally down onto the valve, but only about 2/3rds or half way. Then, when you screw out the valve stem, make sure that you screw at least 4 full turns (better more) .. just to make sure that the stem has come out completely. When you start deflation now, by pulling the blocking ring back, it should work like a charme!

    Is the reading accurate?
    Can u also do single compressor ARB review?

    • @SnailTrail4x4
      @SnailTrail4x4  Před 2 lety

      Analog gauges are the most accurate at the center of their number spread. So if it's a 0-60 gauge then it's accurate around 30

    How often do you have difficulty thinking you're unscrewing the valve core, but then after unscrewing it realize you actually were not connect it to it? Maybe it's just me???
