They were the biggest band of 80's...especially between 82-85..their concerts and world tours were phenamonal..😁😁😁..im so proud to have lived in the eighties as a teenager..great times..

In addition, they were the band that utilized the large music video screen in their concerts that is prevalent in modern day shows and in sports arena's since. They started this in 1983. Duran Duran was also the first musicians to sell a song through the internet with their Electric Barbarella single in 1997. There are so many boundaries and innovation's that Duran Duran have pushed that go hand-in-hand with their great musicianship and songwriting abilities. A unique band for sure and this is one of the reasons Duran Duran will be inducted to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame on Saturday, November 5, 2022!

I graduated high school in 1985 and I would 1000000% go back to that era to relive the 80's. I am so glad you can get a glimpse of what it was like. Just a fun time, not a whole lot of things to worry about in the world and just enjoying life. Not to mention, FANTASTIC MUSIC!!!

This was my first concert as a teenager on 84. Still love Duran Duran music and they still make albums and tour and still sound great. Finally getting in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in a few weeks.

I was lucky enough to see these guys live in concert. D.D. was fantastic! The great thing about the 80's is that we didn't take ourselves or life too seriously. We were keenly aware that eventually we would get older and the best times may be over. So we enjoyed ourselves, our silly clothes and hairstyles and our pop music. We were so positive, always smiling and laughing with our friends! I'm glad we didn't have smart phones then! That would've ruined the 1980's experience.

This reminds me of my childhood. This song and Billy idol eyes without a face would play everyday on MTV. I would put on my cape and use the vacuum cleaner as my microphone and put on my own show.

Well, it’s official I am old lol I remember when this song was brand new. Walking around with a jacket with the sleeves pulled up to your elbows was cool women wearing legwarmers and the big hair. Man that will never be another decade like the 80s. There’s a reason that it’s called the decade of decadence. Simon LeBon the lead singer here was considered when the biggest heartthrob of the era. In fact, Duran Duran were called the Beatles of their time. They’re still together minus one member. And they’re still putting out music. So awesome for them. I was 13 years old when this song came out. For me that has been 41 years ago. It’s amazing how fast time flies until you look back at it.
Simon Le Bon was the one of the biggest heartthrobs of the era and from the band, but John Taylor was a step above Le Bon in regards to adulation.
They’re still selling-out shows on tour. I’ve been trying to see them since the ‘90’s

My introduction to Duran Duran was watching their video for "Hungry Like the Wolves" on Friday Night Videos. I may be wrong but I believe they were part of the 2nd British Invasion for music.

I was a kid when they came out but man I loved their music and had the hots for the lead singer Simon. They have some great songs out there check out Hungary like a wolf, Rio, and Wild Boys.
