Thank you for sharing this nice trip, in Yanbu there is two different sides of the city, there is the old town which you already filmed, and there is the industrial city which is totally different, the industrial city is more modern and it has one of the best and organized roads in the country, it has many plants and refinery and a huge port for exporting gas and oil, it has nice beaches and parks as well, I hope that you didn't miss the chance to visit the industrial city.

Those government building that seems in the middle of nowhere are serving the surrounding little towns. It's usually placed in a location that is easy for everyone to get to and with access to the highway. Mosques are probably there to serve road travelers.
6:22 actually you shouldn’t be washing your the window with water because you will mix sand with water. Since this is sand not mud the sand grains usually fly off the window by wind this is why it is better to not wash them with water.

I've recently started to get hooked on your channel. Al Ulla and Yanbu look like amazing places and the Saudi people seem very hospitable. I'm so glad that part of the world is slowly opening up to tourists and us Westerners. The history of that region and the mystique is also extremely interesting. I plan to visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar and perhaps Oman and Kuwait in the next long holiday break that I have. But thanks for giving me real life footage of Saudi Arabia, I'm looking forward to visiting even more now.

As a Saudi citizen, you should come in the winter after about two months, and if you want modernity and architecture, you will find it in Riyadh and Jeddah in relation to the nature that you find in Abha, Yanbu and Umluj [Tabuk as views of mountains and snow]

The city in the video is Yanbu al-Nakhl, not the main city that has organized streets, services, and a beautiful beach

I live in yanbu and let me tell ya, if you havn't seen the royal commission side of Yanbu, you misssed something amazing. You won't see a place like it. If it was fully constructed that is.
When you arrive to little towns on a road it doesn't mean its it's abandoned, many people spread around in that area.
You only can see it if you go off road maybe few kilometres around it

If you ever come to Riyadh , do visit the Boulevard it’s a really good 🙂🙏🏻it’s got a lot of cafes restaurants etc

Yanbu is a nice place nice scenery, I did my first fly training there , I have amazed by the red see and the beautiful mountains
The sea of Yanbu is clean and warm. Have some bread to feed the fish. You can see them from a distance due to the clean of the water. The beach is sandy like slime. You can swim, it is very safe.
You're such a nice happy family. So respictful also. I hope you enjoy your whole trip Saudi, I encourage you to discover more of the country.

You won't believe that there was a time when I was living in Riyadh, today's petrol price is 2.2 SAR but few years back the price was as low as 0.23 SAR. All cars used to fill full tanks and mostly petrol used to spill out due to over filling. In 15 SAR only, tank was filled with 45 litres. Even price of car engine oil was around 4 SAR per litre.
Prices increased after implementation of VAT in Saudi Arabia and global oil price after impact of Covid.

The fire station and the police for the people in the area you passed by, people do not live near the streets in these areas. If you enter a deeper area far from the main street, you will find houses. welcome to my country 🌸

I advise you to visit the city near Yanbu, go to Jeddah and Taif, and visit the south, Al Baha, Abha and Jizan.
Welcome to Yanbu. I recomendit you to go to Umluj beach, it is the most beautiful beach that you can see in Saudi Arabia because its water is very clear and white sand, and you can do the activities of seeing dolphins, fishing and swimming

Wooh Yanbu that is my hometown 😍❤️ I’m living / studying in France for the moment but I really missed my family and everything about Yanbu 😭 Thank you for the video 🫶!!
In this video you are in the old town (Yanbu al balad). There is also Yanbu al bahar 🌊 , Yanbu alnakheel 🌴 and Yanbu al sinaiah 🏭.
Each part of Yanbu is really different and special , I recommend a visit to each part.
I know more about Yanbu al sinaiah (industrial Yanbu) since I used to live in it. It’s a nice modern town with fresh air and beautiful parks and beaches. People looking for calm will usually appreciate it .
Last thing to recommend ,since you are in Yanbu, is to eat lots of fresh fish . Seafood coming from the red sea is really the best of the bests 🎣

You would find some government buildings in the middle of nowhere cuz it serves bedouins living around the area that’s why you wouldn’t find houses
As always Saudi Arabia is the best and peaceful country to live and explore. Only one problem Saudi youth drive very fast on the highway other car driver should be extra careful otherwise accident could happen. My all best wishes to your family.

I would like to welcome any and all travelers to this region … but; if you plan to drive on a road trip you should set aside a strong plan and budget to rent strong durable vehicles better suited for long distance trips … focus on brands and size … don’t rent small cars for these kind of trips… look at Land Cruisers, Nissan Patrols or Mitsubishi Pajero’s … etc and equip them with large enough coolers to make room for ice and water, which can bought or fitted out by some suitable car rental outfits who are available in most countries of the Arabian Gulf countries …

@@AwaywiththeSteiners actually I saw in one of your videos that you had visited a store that sold water coolers among other things … that shop is actually an outdoor outfitter… although most of the items were more suited to a larger car than the Hyundai that you had rented for that trip … good luck during your trips
