When I purchased the game over ten years ago, I thought I hit the jackpot when receiving it with the cool looking envelope with it. Still have it to this day and nice little gem to have. From what i see,only KOF 99 came with a phone card (official licensed by SNK)

I do remember phone cards in the UK , they were the thing mum and dad bought for an emergency phone call because they didn’t trust you with cash because they knew it would be spent on other things lol.
Dont ever remember them coming with games though so that’s interesting to me.

Cool video man, I would double check the PSU is the correct voltage to what the AES console requires, they are not totally universal.

Great video bro & I love the format changes you’ve made recently as well, it really looks great! I had the same problem with my USA Turbo Duo console with audio & graphics glitches, I was using a generic power supply that came with it when purchased from craigslist. After spending $110 on an OEM Power Supply all of those issues disappeared! The 2nd time I had that issue it was on an AES console & the problem was that the cartridge previously had bugs in it & some of the pins had bad corrosion from the bugs, I cleaned it for hours & it helped & only worked properly if I didn’t push the cartridge in all the way. Btw it only did that on the Japanese AES but wouldn’t do that on the USA AES. Sorry for the long post, keep up the good work 🫡.

You can't play those Multi Carts without an upgraded higher voltage Power Supply. You can't use the factory Power Supply with it. It will cause graphical error's like you saw at the store. It's the reason I don't mess with that multi cart I just buy real carts. I don't think it's good to run Neo Geo AES with higher voltage power supply. Playing that Multi cart with normal power supply can damage console.
That's good to know. We did test with my KOF98 cart, but it was still showing the graphical errors. That was my first time seeing a 161 cart in action. I'm with you I prefer the real carts.
