it was worth to collect 15 years ago and if you were part of the nostalgia to begin with, before retro-hipsters and zoomies put their dirty hands on the neogeo while they would not notice a difference if they played these games on their garbage PS5 or Switch whatever virtual consoles. These games are meant to played as you do, not put on shelves to be displayed on Instagram retro Karens. game prices literally exploded here in Japan because of these imbeciles.

enjoyed the video good sir, and know the addiction, I was active in 90's as 'garg7', ran a review site, and amassed a 21 cart AES collection and acquired 2 JPN SNK candy cabs, even then the carts were expensive but FAR less than now, paid $6200 for those 21 carts (some amazing titles), but todays prices the value would be $33,000! I sold then and went solely MVS, still have my candy cab and love it, just purchased a CMVS. For newbies who just want to play, STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL HARDWARE, recommend a consolized MVS and 161 in 1 cart, though I still prefer original MVS carts, but on a budget thats a solid option. The future is now!:) Be well

2021 got me into investing, I had owned property before then but never got into the markets. 2021 I got rekt in stocks, crypto you name it. But I learned my lesson and have been gradually putting money into the markets for the past few years whilst still buying games every now and then. It’s really starting to pay off!

I was always told that if you want to start investing, just go online and see what our senators/congressman have just recently invested into. It’s not a guarantee by any means but I’m sure there is a sprinkle of insider baseball going on there.

Definitely great to think about. I’ve been lucky enough to find those deals and be able to afford most of what I want.

I have this glorious game! Got it for my 29th birthday with my own money, and for a good deal! Yes, it may have insertion marks but I don’t care-it’s my game and it’s a part of my collection! Fun to play-even with 2 players. Some damage to Games add a bit of charm to me... it’s a game that’s well loved!

I'm definitely in the sale/ thrifting camp. I really enjoy hunting for deals. Using stocks to fund collecting is so smart.

That’s great man, interesting video! I don’t invest but I saved, I’m retired for good at 47. I buy games but I don’t budget lol, and I only buy what I want to have or sentimental games. Ultimately though I’ll be downsizing and selling everything as we have plans to live in Italy in the next few years. I plan on keeping some of my smaller systems, minis and the switch. My gaming won’t be like it is now as we will be exploring a lot during our days out there. As much as I love to collect and game, life is short and there’s places to see and food to eat lol!
