I enjoyed it. One thing I would like to mention for the future psr e473 hope it comes out this year. The lcd display has always been the same I think that they can at least upgrade it to be more equivalent to the mm6/dgx650/yog535 etc.thats what I’m hoping. And probably more features. I always enjoyed watching your videos👍😁😉😉😎😎

Hi, nice demonstration video. Could you please do a demonstration video of the Groove Creator and how it can be combined with the Track Control, the Arpeggios and the DSPs to make fully-fledged improvisations and compositions? Thanks.
What kind of output device are you using? Are you using portable speakers? Or perhaps are you using your Windows PC? With which application on your PC?
Some of the video was recorded from the speakers into my camera's mic, but the direct-recorded parts were made by connecting a Yamaha Pocketrak 2G which I have reviewed separately on Gearfacts :)
I think there's a 'transpose' function further in the menu, if you set that to -12 I'm pretty sure it's a global setting that will remain active if you change voices. I like it an octave down too. I solve the problem by saving every sound i use in the registry with M-Octave at -1. All depends how you roll, I suppose :)
I think fun should always be the first consideration. If playing an instrument is fun then you've achieved the goal of playing music. Fun. Enjoyment. If playing an instrument is a frustrating ordeal, then you're unlikely to get great music from it :)
Thank you for making vedios about Yamaha psr e463. I subscribed your Vedio. Can. You make a Vedio about. How to play back songs from pendrive which is downloaded from computer to the keyboard
Question. This keyboard doesn't have stereo outputs (L and R) - just "headphones / output" - does this mono jack drastically decrease the volume and tone of the keyboard when running through an amplifier? Many other keyboards have this problem - including the terrible Casio CTX3000 (garbage compared to their earlier CTK boards).
Nope, I've never noticed any quality difference between a headphone socket and LR output. Sometimes it's more convenient to have LR output, but I've never had serious problems if restricted to headphone output.
Can this keyboard do Scale tuning and save the presets? So if I want to play in something other than 12 Tone Equal Temperament like say, Kirnberger or 1/4 Comma Meantone, can I tune each note in the octave individually and save my tuning?
@@gearfacts - thanks for your reply. Then this Yamaha is different than other "no L/R output" keyboards I've played that have a significant audio loss (compared to keyboards that have outputs) when inputing to an external amplifier.
Hey sir I'm a complete beginner i am stuck between the psr e463 or ctx 5000 or 3000 i hear that the ctx models are a bit tough to operate and as a beginner I'm confused the ctx has much more functions and all compared to psr e463 . Which keyboard should I go for if I go for the ctx model will it b much harder to learn playing ?
Hi Firoz, I recommend that if you are a beginner, stick with the Yamaha models. They are far more user friendly and will give you a taste of everything that keyboards can do rather than specialising in just one area. I think the CT-X keyboards sound superior but yes they are so difficult to operate that I think they are really only useful as a performance keyboard. Thanks for watching and for your message :) Gearfacts
@@gearfacts & Firoz ales - steer clear of the Casio CTX 3000 - it has a weaker sound than even the CTK-6000 & 7000 sound engines. And the headphone jack to amplifier is absolutely not usable. I've never tried the ctx-5000, so can't vouch for that model.
That's the tremolo effect, not an arpeggio. Choose Tremolo as your effect, then press the Knob Assign button so that the knobs control the effect, then turn the knobs to explore the sound. In the example I shoed at 4:10, I've used a layered sound and the effect only works on one of the layers, which results in that nice flowing dynamic :)
The 'piano' style ones are better because they stay still on the floor. The small ones tend to move around too easily. So get one with the metal 'teardrop' shaped pedal, preferably with a polarity switch on the bottom.

Just ordered the Yamaha PSR E463 can’t wait to start playing 🎼🎼🎼🎼🎹🎹🎹🎹
awesoooooome!
Hi did you learn how to play now that u have it 7 months from now?
Great little run through. I absolute adore my PSRE463. For the features and the price, Unbeatable indeed!
Yes I agree - it has the broadest capabilities of any keyboard in this price range since the Yamaha DJX :) Gearfacts
I'm completely sold on this machine it has everything you would need in one
Yep, I think that's a concise summary of what it is :) #gearfacts
I sit in front of my new Yamaha PSR-E463 for only 280 € I can't believe what you get today for this money absolutely fantastic :-)
Couldn't agree more!

Awesome, thank you!
Thanks for uploading psr E463 SIR ITS NICE FOR BEGGINEARS SIR IAM BEGGINER
I agree. Glad you liked the video :) Gearfacts
what voice on that keyboard did you use on 4:04-4:40
That's one of the preset synth sounds. I can't remember its name but if you go to the synth pad section it'll be there :)

Hi, I want to shift down one octave and save it. I found the "M Octave" but I can't seem to save it and use with other piano sounds. any help?

I dont see Electric Guitar option in PSR E463?Does this model support this voice? if yes how do i get this option?
It does have a few electric guitar sounds but they're not great. Super fun keyboard though :)
Just wondering if you still think it's unbeatable fun quality outweighs it's shotcomings?

Ok I"ll try to. I think it only plays wav files, no MP3
Ok I've done it: czcams.com/video/YFTq-4lmQIk/video.html

No, it can't do scale tuning.
How can adjust brightness and make it low ?
Cut back on the resonance control
@@gearfacts how doing that !!?
@@saeedooo Try adjusting the two knobs on the left side, near the rhythm controls. They will affect the brightness of the sound.
very good
Yep, I just got the bigger version. Review coming soon! ;) #gearfacts
With no L/R outputs on the PSR-3463, does this keyboard have a significant loss of audio having only the headphone jack to amplifier?
I can't notice any difference. I think the durability of the socket itself is an issue, but adio quality is basically the same. GF

Finally found one, review coming soon :)
can you make a review for Yamaha PSR s650

what is that sound sir? wheredid get that?
From the standard set of 700 sounds :) GF
Is it worth buying
I think it's still the best home keyboard for the price.

It's price plis
300 :) Gearfacts
@Gearfacts please dont just use electronic dance music only to demo the keyboard. Better quality music shows off a better quality keyboard.
