Now, I am rewatching all your PSR WE410 videos. I read the whole manual but, these videos are really shortening my learning curve. Geez. Great videos. Can't thank you enough.
Hi Mr Jeremy, I've discover some "Special hidden effect" too on My E-413. - Press the Grand Piano button (at the display it should be 001). - Scroll the voice knob into 000 (it's still a piano sound) - Press & hold "dual" button - Change the dual sound into 001 - Press the "dual" button again U'll get a deeper, melow & soft piano sound than the default piano sound. ( Until I get my P45B in My Apartment :P ) Sincerly, Brian E-413 user since 2013 :'))
I can't get enough of your in depth demos of the PSR-E363 - I just bought the PSR-EW310 and have a Glarry platform style stand on the way. Thank you so much for all the time you invest in these awesome videos!
Thankyou for explaining what all these functions do i could have spent ages going thru them and adjusting them and noticed a difference but not realised what was actually changing, now I have a lot better understanding of what these function words mean and where and how much to apply them, your videos are invaluable to a beginner like myself and are greatly appreciated, thanks again, from,Auckland,New Zealand 👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🙂🙂🙂
Hi interesting video 😊 As far as I know, Chorus and Reverb are available on all the PSR E keyboards, but the other effects (Pan, Attack, Release, Filter and Resonance) are available on the PSR E4xx only. It would be cool if you could make a video about using these effects live with the two live knobs. In another video, could you please show how the DPSs also affect the sounds? Thanks.
thank you sir Jeremy, some of the effects i already know but this, attack, release, chorus and paning i wonder what it is, but thanks to your video it enlightens me, all setting that i have save in the bank, it made better with all effects you just shown.. More power and God bless..
Jeremy I plugged in the PSR 463 bro a boss Ve 500 effects pedal , ( voice and Guitar ). Blew me away , I could not believe the sound Thanks for the Demo. Great job
Hi, I have recently watched your latest video about this PSRE instruments, and I have to say, that you are, in my opinion, really good at teaching people how to use the different functions, to suit their needs. I also have to add, I have a 453, and I can apply the same affects as you did with your keyboard.
Also, I would like to add, I am a blind person, and I can hear the sound. Every sound is not perfect, however, I think, in my opinion, you really have shown people, including me, how to do certain things. I know a lot about Yamaha keyboards, however, there’s always something new to explore.
Amazing 7 Effects Thanks Now I know how to apply .🎶🎼🎹its only because of your nice Way of Teaching & explain about Keyboard Function. Thanks once again.
Looking forward to my Yamaha PSR E463 purchase very soon. Sorry but the 363 that I just got rid of for $75 had the sorriest Auto Accompaniament I ever had. My old Lowery Organ Magic Genie was hands down the best. Just please the 463 is worth the extra $100. Also Jeremy See is the BEST!
Very useful video. I got the E363 more or less for the Registration memory bank of which the E363 is the cheapest keyboard they appear on, which is so useful for playing in a band to make quick voice changes. I'm even more pleased now that you've shown it remembers any effects you add to those voices too!
RaccAttack • hi there did you purchase your keyboard 🙂.. I have read that roland ex-20 has great sound for acoustic piano but is more expensive. Even I am a beginner so still looking to buy one.
CUT-OFF is technically a LOW PASS FILTER, i.e. you select were you put the limit of maximum frequencies you want to listen on the voice, so you are usually removing harmonics, which is what gives a voice a fuller sound. I don't think a higher CUT-OFF value removes lower frequencies but the effect of adding higher frequencies makes the lower ones less significant. I can be wrong, of course ;-) (I am toying with the idea of doing an spectral analysis on a voice so there we could see the real effect, frequency wise, of the CUT-OFF filter)
Perfect demonstration.👍 Only drawback is we can't see your keyboard screen, except on the last seconds of your video. I use knobs to make sound tuning easier, and I had played a lot with those settings to find the perfect sound for my Fort Boyard Theme ;) Waiting for your DSP demonstration, I haven't played a lot with DSP until now.
You can try to use exposure setting on your phone when you are filming, it helps sometimes. Or you can try to lower the phone to see more contrast of the keyboard screen. That's surprising why Yamaha didn't add a screen contrast setting.
Awesome demostration!. Can you please make a video tutorial on how to use the scale settings and how to tune them eventually?. I've been searching for related video's online but there does not seem to be much covering the scale settings. Thank you! :)
Alex, here you can see some Arabian scales czcams.com/video/ndgd0kEeObk/video.html czcams.com/video/LCXKIGzezLU/video.html You can use the scale tune function of your keyboard but better try to learn the arabian scales so you can play arabian music to every keyboard whether it has a scale tune function or not.
I have setting effect on my ,Korg Ks 50 and why my tempo disappeared, could you helping me pleased Thank you for your teach and showing me how it worked.
Jeremy, can you give me your social media links? I need your advice. My budget is $300 and in my local shop they have a CTK 7200 going for around $300. Is it worth the purchase or should I go for the psr e463? I feel like the ctk provides a lot more features compared to the psr and especially some features that will help a singer-songwriter like me for music production. Please suggest which one I should buy because I plan to use this board for a long time in my musical journey until being financially able to switch to a korg or roland.
Thanks for watching. Do subscribe and give my videos a thumbs up. Your question has been asked often and has been answered in one of my previous Q&A. Do check it out.
Thanks for the indepth tutorial on effects. Can you also help out on how to create a beat like on fk studio or Alberton Live and use it on the yamaha psr e463 and play along.
Jeremy, your knowledge of the Yamaha PSR-E363 seems extensive. Is there a function that allows the LCD display to display the Note you are playing? I have reviewed the manual and have found the Chord Dictionary function and the ACMP function which both activate the Note display on the panel, but is there a way that the panel will display the single note you are playing. This would help with identifying and learning keys and notes. I can see the hardware is there but I am unsure if the software supports this feature.
is the keyboard keys are the same feeling of other keyboard/ or grand piano? I’m trying to practice piano on it but i feel like practicing rhythm (short, long) notes are so hard on it
Well my grand piano sounds muddy but I think I could help you, by distorted what do you mean ? Like does the sound get crackled or a electric type sound generates or if you could be more specific I could suggest you the effects
Hey Jeremy, I would love to know what values you set the reverb, cut off, ie all the 7 sound effects for the fast songs and slow songs respectively thanks
Just found this - very nice ! If you still have a 463 is there any chance you might look into whether you can make these keyboards at all approximate a Fender-Rhodes, such as the sound used by The Doors in Riders on the storm ?
one question bro. and what about to modulate the brite organ sound like a real Hammond..... any idea on how to change the modulation when we have to sustain a chord more than 7 sec. Thanks and keep on rocking Jeremy !!!
Hi DUde. I just bought a psr E463 on your reviews of it. Bugger, cost me money I didn't have.... I know it has a few probs with things missing etc but it sure does have a lot of features that I can use especially the amount of voices it has. The accomp section is what I really need to get started in my claim to fame. COnsidering I can't really play on my own back. Going through the learning process though. Get there thum pork sausages moving hey?
Hi Jeremy which keyboard is better to produce the desired sound for the trinity exam? Casio CT-X3000 , Yamaha PSR-E463 or a simple Casio CTK-3500, for example playing different sounds for LH and RH?
Thanks to you just unboxed my E463. Loving it.

Thanks a lot for this video! I always thought my keyboard doesn't had enough volume but now is a great difference
Jeremy I plugged in the PSR 463 bro a boss Ve 500 effects pedal , ( voice and Guitar ). Blew me away , I could not believe the sound

It is indeed a great nifty board. Have fun!
I am thinking about to buy the Yamaha PSR- E363 as a beginner. Is it good ? Please answer because I want to buy one today😃
Thanks for watching. Questions will be selected to be featured in the next Q&A.

RaccAttack • hi there did you purchase your keyboard 🙂.. I have read that roland ex-20 has great sound for acoustic piano but is more expensive. Even I am a beginner so still looking to buy one.
dude, awesome. I love your content!!!
One more request: please display the keyboard display screen so your students and fans can see what you're changing and turning on.
Great explanation. Thank you
I'll buy it this week!

Please can you help make a video on how you arranged those last sounds.. Especially the one for the fast songs..Thanks..
Like this content so much.

Yes, the screen is tricky to film if the video includes the white keys.
You can try to use exposure setting on your phone when you are filming, it helps sometimes.
Or you can try to lower the phone to see more contrast of the keyboard screen.
That's surprising why Yamaha didn't add a screen contrast setting.
