I think you should go for the dark gray paint from two-tone for the valve cover, imo it will look better in the engine bay

The most important and hardest thing about doing something yourself is: Beeing happy with the result. No matter how good it turns out and no matter how many compliments you get, there will always be that one thing that you are not happy about and that "could be better". Would have preferred to see you go full “Impact Blue” with the Sil80, but that Seafoam two-tone color scheme is also so iconic as well so I can’t complain! And now you have your own unique take on the Sil80, I’ve only ever seen one other Sil80 with that scheme and it was fully stanced so yours is super unique and special (not that it wasn’t those things before 😅)

guys, you should definitely zinc coat all of the bolts and clean engine parts as much as possible. it will look pristine :)
Honestly, that is SUCH an underrated and nice color! Thats going to look absolutely WICKED going with the two tone, and that light gray on the bottom! STOKED for the final outcome!

Love the new wheels and colour! Just a suggestion, why not painting the valve cover gray as the bottom half of the car body? I think it would look really cool to have the contrast of colours even in the engine bay! Just a personal opinion :)

Looks awesome, way better than when you started. To fix those drips from the clear coat you can use a really sharp blade, keep as flat as possible to the paint surrounding it and slice the drips off, saves a lot of time trying to sand it down and keeps it nice and flat! Then polish with compound after to get shine back. Can’t wait to see more progress on this!
