A delight to hear this outstanding concert again. Gert & Marjolein are a charming couple who bring untold happiness into our lives.

With Gert Van Hoef, organ music is taking a new impulse and his performances are vibrant and full of energy.
Sounds as good today as 3 years ago! Magnificent and included some of my all time favorites. Marjolein's smile is as big in today's concerts as this one.
Gert is firstly n foremost a MUSICIAN and so everything inside of him is MUSIC and he plays things that people like and uplifts the human spirit BRAVO GERT u r a blessing to the ears and hearts of millions...
What a wonderful expression of appreciation to his English fans to begin with the British National Anthem!
Some of us at the concert were Welsh Irish and Scots. All British but I agree with your remark. ;-)

I came from Northern Ireland with a friend primarily to hear Gert play live. I was not disappointed. I even got a picture standing with Gert.
I also enjoyed the smiles of pleasure on Gert's and Marjolein's faces when the audience joined in singing "Land of Hope and Glory".
John Gee - the few times I’ve seen real organist do live performances, i can see they tend to be a special group of people. I remember my first live organ concert of at San Francisco symphony hall. The lady organist was so delighted to be playing i thought she was personally going to fly off the organ and bump her head on the ceiling. She was totally funny and joyful.

Your improvisation on the soft voices of the organ was absolutely breathtaking.
I really would like to hear comments by those that know organ. I’m one of those “masses” that Gert is bringing the organ. Gert sounds good to me. He places lots of emotion and history into his playing. But what do i now (from States).

Gert, first off. Congratulations on your engagement and your life together as husband and wife. I have been hoping she was the one. Second, you are so amazing. I wish I had a 10th of your talent. I love playing the organ, and do so in church on rare occasions. I shake when I play and people sing. Nerves. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. God has richly blessed yoù with a special talent and you feel every note you play. Youŕ registrations are all wonderful and displays how the organ is the King of instruments..your wife is an immeasurable help to you and your performance--turning music and making stop adjustments. The video that moved me so much was when your wife was pregnant with your son and she was sitting on the organ with you and that your unborn child was hearing his Dad playing such beautiful music. God bless your family. I sometimes play one video after another and am thrilled with every one , especially watching your artistic hands and the movement of your feet.WONDERFUL. Thank you.

Loving and knowing Classical and Baroque Music quite well, I'd say young Mr. Gert Van Hoef is continuing the great tradition of all Baroque Musicians: not only being a (great) performer but also being an amazingly good composer !

Many thanks for coming back to Hanley and play an organ which you love (not as much as Marjolein i hope!!). Good to hear you have been invited back for another concert. Each time I'm unable to get there to listen to you play so thanks to CZcams, also thanks to your dad and grandfather for all the help and encouragement they have given you since you first played 'Silent Night' with two fingers.

Albinoni, Sousa and Elgar were my favourite pieces from that concert. I have watched the 2015 concert a few times and it was a pleasure to attend this one in person.

hier in Berlin in Zehlendorf, in der Paulus Kirche, haben SIE 2 neue Orgeln. und gerade die Französische Barock Orgel mit den Zimbel-Sternen . . . . .
Jobst Vieten Herrlich! Ich hab grad nochmal reingehört. Ja, Zimbelsterne können so eine Orgel so richtig zum Klingen bringen.
