Pull-Ups are a pretty tough move and require a lot of upper-body strength! Training with long resistance bands is an excellent method to help you get there though!
Start with your heaviest-resistance band. Loop it around your pull-up bar. Use the resistance of the band to help pull your body upward. Work your way through the bands, using less and less resistance until you’re able to do them on your own!
WARNING - this will not happen overnight! Consistency and progress over time are the keys to positive change!

Pro tip: stick both feet into the band so you don't develop a muscle imbalance from the band assisting one side more than the other.
Just bought some bands.. used to be able to do 20 plus pull ups years ago slow with good form. Put on weight since then. It hurts to do 5! Hopefully these help:)
So did these help?
@@hanjibabitaji not at all no😂 I'm just doing them daily. Or at least when I remind myself.
Still trying to get to ten.
@@hanjibabitajithey do help but you gotta lose weight and build strength to do pull ups,
This is super legit! Thanks!!! :)

Facts lol
Wow. Thanks!
so the heavier the weight, the easier it is to do pullup?
Correct! You want to start with band that's the heaviest-resistance, then work your way to the lighter resistance ones and then eventually you won't need them at all!
@@sk_digital_strategies i bought a 35kg resistance band ytd. however i feel like its not long enough and i hv difficulty trying to put my foot on it. is that normal?
@@sk_digital_strategies Iam 77 KG so how much band weight of resistance should I buy to do pullups
What weight I should buy for pull ups@@sk_digital_strategies
Love it
Nice video!👍 I haven't done a pull up in years & tryin to get back to it. So I'm at beginner level again. What is the weight and size of the red band you use in your video? Is that the one I should order and start off with?
Looks nice. but it would be great if these rubber bands don't keep breaking.

Ugh I’m scared
@@_einodmilvado don't worry I have used my band in high intensity training for the last 2 years it hasn't even started to break
Used mine for the first time in the gym 2 weeks back and it snapped on the 5th set…
How do you wrap it up or nod it to the tube
my resistance band is 2m long and too hard 110lbs , cant use it in pull up hix hix
my friend did this and the band broke. I'm too weak in my upper body to ever attempt these, I'll stick to push ups, thanks
That's.. why bands exist. Push ups are for completely different muscle groups. You wont get a good body by only doing push ups
wow, you look so much like soirse ronan!
as a person weight 78kg i don't think it helps lol, i lost the ability to do pull ups after i gain 10kg
Just train lat pulldowns wide to medium grip until you reach 90% of your bodyweight its way more effective and easier to overload
Nah that's to centralized. Lat pull downs work the back nice but pull ups work the back, biceps, and core. Plus pull ups increase stamina and are better for hypertrophy.
thx gorgeous
Where to buy
Link is in the description!
What does this do? I’m clueless
It provides resistance at the bottom most position making the movement easier. The thicker the band the easier it gets to perform pull ups. We are supposed to use thinner bands as we progress
How long the resistance? Thanks
HI there! I got mine on Amazon for about $30 or so. There are 4 different bands/resistances that are described as
Black:15-35 lbs., Green:25-65 lbs., Blue:35-85 lbs., Red:50-125 lbs

@@swampfitness1695 Thank you so much for answering the question!!
I use metal weight 5kg and very hard to stretch😂
Hi! I do pull-ups. My record is over 100 pull-ups in one lift. Please rate the quality of my pull-ups and the hard work I have done
😂
terrible form: never shrug your shoulders before pulling up. Shoulders should stay down and retracted to engage lats and back muscles and allow chest to bar.
