Churchill was pro-Zionist, due to his Jewish blood on his mother's side. Hence Leonard as one of his names, after his paternal grandfather L.Jeromme. After the war he ensured that the Jews got their homeland! Hey presto.. Israel, taken off the Palastinians under the infamous Balfour declaration again all crafted by British Jewish politicians in the early part of the 20th century. I hope that helps.

I had fortunately English in my degree course
With a chapter about Churchill and his school days
It was written with subtle humor to tickle our mind
A legend in military as well as in English language
He accelerated my love for the language greatly
He only helped me write also very humorously
He won for the World the war with Germany
And was a genius in literature and logistics
When an MP said she would poison him to death
If he were her husband to show her anger toward him
He simply said he would drink it if she were his wife
Such a subtle humor none can get at the right time
He said- "Half of the members of Parliament are fools"
Then a severe uproar took place with anger everywhere
And he was asked to take back his words immediately
He said- "Half of the members of parliament aren't fools"
He with USA and Russia annihilated Germany severely
His war-time speeches were greatly memorable indeed
He only showed "V" to denote victory by using his fingers
He only made popular "It's me" instead of saying "It's I"

Churchill’s love of the English language stemmed in part from the fact that he repeatedly failed Greek and Latin while at Harrow. His abhorrence for the rigours of the classical languages confirmed in him the desire to become a serious student of his own. As one Victorian wit put it, “no, it is not necessary for a gentleman to know Latin; but he at least ought to have the benefit of having forgotten it”...

Became head of the largest empire the world had ever seen and had to deal with the facist tyranny of Nazi Germany that threatened the survival of the free world. To top it off he also suffered from depression, yet he still found the endeavour and courage to lead The United Kingdom to victory over Hitler. He was a complex character and a man of his time and who changed throughout his life. He did indeed prevent food imports to Bengal to stockpile it in the Balkans. But you seem to forget, he was Leading The United Kingdom in a War. The soldiers needed supplies more than anyone else. There are letters written by him to leaders of other allied nations showing his serious concern of the situation that arose in Bengal. The Bengal famine was indeed a catastrophic mistake on Churchill's part. But we in Great Britain are grateful for Winston Churchill because he was an inspirational war hero who helped to save this nation and many others from Nazi Germany and the other Axis powers. Churchill did not have autocratic power over Indian affairs. He had to get agreement of the war cabinet for any decisions. He had set up a committee to report to the War Cabinet on Indian Affairs in 1942, which consisted of people with personal experience of India , including a former Governor of Bengal. There was a Viceroy with responsibility for the governance of India and a Governor of Bengal with responsibility for the governance of Bengal. In other words he was 5 tiers removed from civilian actions taken in India. Supply references for the alleged statements and what it was that he personally did that overrode the other 4 tiers of governance. Oh, by the way, you might care to research Ghandi's statements about black Africans when he was in South Africa. They contrast rather sharply with Churchill's written praise, both of the contribution of Indian Regiments and of the civilian population during the threat of Japanese invasion. This can be found in his account of the war.
